Life Orb Mimikyu, Mega Mence, and Scarf Modest Lele get me to 50 consistently though, can't wait for QR teams as I suck at building for doubles.

People who lose in the battle tree are scrubs and thankfully due to the mega stones being locked behind the battle tree's paywall they don't get megas. Scrubs don't deserve mega evolution

I'm done with Super Singles now, what do you guys run in doubles? I used some regular stuff to brute force my way through regular doubles but Supers will kick my ass. Post some teams if you don't mind.

When in doubt, always remember to use Tapus and UBs. They will carry you to 50+. When you look at this team a little bit, you'll start to realize how beautifully the Mons support each others.

Leading with Oranguru and Xurkitree which nukes everything until I meet strong ground types like Mamoswine and others like Rotom-F who destroy me.

But I , Nuke until it Xurk dies and switch to Torkal for the eruption meme, but get my shit kicked in because of earthquake spam. And Garchomp is useless because if it doesn't (which it won't) KO with an earthquake it dies to any ice attack.

This team has a major weakness to ice and ground and I kinda want to replace Garchomp or Torkal with something else

Xurkitree learns grass knot you know. Probably too slow to make use of it though.

Replace xircutree with tapu koko for one. Faster and hits nearly almost as hard as xirckiree with electric terrain in effect. More so with a life orb.

My advice would be "Don't use M-Aerodactyl" but you're looking for something that can deal with your weaknesses. I see Storm Drain Gastrodon being pretty much the perfect ally for Aero since it's immune to Water and Electric, resists Steel and Rock and it can thaw itself with Scald if it gets frozen when switching into Ice Beam or Blizzard. Maybe a set like this:

MAero is pretty trash in singles. If you want to use it I recommend trying it out in doubles with another strong, fast attacker. It worked out great for me.

It's not necessarily cheating, GF just doesn't want to patch anything so they make future sets possible from the start. This isn't even anything new as the same thing happened last gen. Go play XY Battle Maison, you'll encounter Rock Head Tyrantrum and Snow Warning Aurorus there even though both were unavailable when the games were released. Now you can get them tho so it doesn't matter. GF is just giving us a little sneak peek for upcoming moves and abilities. I mean, anyone else hyped for Shell Smash Kommo-o in the next game(s)?

I'm certainly not but it's still pretty cool considering how bad Kommo-o currently is. I just wonder how it's is going to get the move. It's not an egg move currently, so are they going to make Shell Smash a tutor move? Who knows?

I have Dazzling Gleam on Tapu Koko but it's neutral. Thunderbolt is much more powerful. However, I don't really know how to play against that particular Emboar set as it's one of the few Mons that really threaten my entire team. Buzzwole easily takes an Earthquake from Emboar and KOs with its own Earthquake after Volt Switch damage, and that's what I was going for there. I sure as hell wasn't prepared for Flame Charge on the switch and then Quick Claw activating against Tapu Koko. I literally had the shittiest possible luck in that match.

Fuck the Battle Tree is extremely difficult. I run a very popular website... and Im just missing 1 thing in the Sun and Moon section... which as a image for the Passionate Style. Apparently you need a streak of 50 to unlock the Passionate Style.... unfortunatly Im very unskilled.

Hey guys, I was able to finally reach 50 wins in super singles battle tree, quite easily I might add. Probably because the team I'm using is OP and really easy to use.

Battle with Red video here: ZUPW-WWWW-WWW3-KEGJ

My sets were:

Tapu Koko (Life Orb)
Modest Nature (Timid would be better to be honest)
252 SPA, 252 SPD, 4 HP
-Thunderbolt
-Dazzling Gleam
-Taunt (always use it on Rotom Heat, Walrein, Umbreon, and Mandibuzz)
-U-turn (Safe switchout while dealing little damge to opponent, also able to hit ground types unlike volt switch)

Mega-Salamence
Jolly Nature
252 ATK, 252 SPD, 4 HP
-Return
-Dragon Claw
-Dragon Dance (Only boost when you feel super safe)
-Earthquake (Hitting steel types)

Aegislash (Weakness Policy)

Thrash isn't worth it, you need to be able to switch out of counters.

I would run DD + Return, or if like me you forgot it's an Egg Move, Double Edge is fine and got me to 50 and beyond no problem.

The recoil is an issue, but the power is fine and in most circumstances you will just outspeed everything so it doesn't matter. I do recommend having a team that is able to deal with your Mence going down a bit early, so bulky mons and revenge killers with priority make Double Edge much less risky.

It can work really well in doubles from my experience. I'm at a 113 win streak currently with modest scarf Tapu Lele, Alolan Ninetales, Celesteela, and Mega Gyarados. I usually spam psychic with it and get plenty of OHKOs. I haven't used it in a singles team though, so I don't know how well it does there.

Lele and Bulu hit insanely hard. Lele has the benefit of less resists while Bulu has the advantage of more power in Wood Hammer.

They're not going to carry you on their own. Just play smart with them.

Sure. I used Mimikyu to follow up on early mence kills with Boosted Shadow Sneaks, or switched out to Reuinclus who could usually tank enough hits to set up Trick Room. Fast sweepers can't deal with either of these mons, stallers typically fall flat against Reuniclus, and slow mons with big burst are countered by Mimikyu.

Oddly enough I only lose to Sub and Rest tanks, and Steel types don't work because of Earthquake and the fact very few things in the game can't avoid being 2hko'd by 2.5x Shadow Sneak off a Mimikyu.

Most people run Mence with Aegislash which is both an amazing partner and a great mon in itself. Physical version has Shadow Sneak, Special versions are better all-rounders.

I just played against an enemy Tsareena owned by some Golfer which kept using Captivate almost every turn, even when my Special Attack would not go any lower.

I lowered it's damage once with Salamence on the first turn and once with King's Shield after switching in my sword. Then I switched back to Megamence and set up 5 Dragon Dances, while she kept using captivate against a physical Megamence.

Megamence as a lead partner with koko works very well. Intimidate makes sure koko can take a few extra hits vs physical attacks. You got wishiwashi to handle ice attacks. All that's left is something for those pesky electric/ground types....and koko can abuse grass knot.

Well, you most certainly need something to deal with Grass- and Electric-types. Tapu Koko can't do much to those types and Wishiwashi takes super effective damage from both. If you decide to follow this guy's >>31069348 advice, your last Pokemon could be something like Dhelmise.

Drizzle Pelipper. Spam Thunder with Koko, then rain boosted Wishi. Hurricane deals with grass types.

This is a bad idea. Having Tapu Koko, Pelipper and Wishiwashi in the same team makes you incredibly weak to Electric. Meanwhile, having Pelipper, Wishiwashi and A-Exeggutor in the same team makes you super slow.

I lead with Weavile to soften up chumps, then used Xurkits to clean up. When a ground type comes in I used Dragonite. Sometimes when it's good Weavile can clean it all up.

Not the other guy but the same I get fucked once in the 40s in doubles run Fini @ leftovers dual screens moon blast and scald with mimikyu @ lifeorb leech life swords dance shadow claw and play rough and my other two mons is megagross earthquake zen head butt hammer arm meteor mash and Nihilego @ sash sludge bomb protect grass knot power gem, find and mimikyu do a fine job I just feel like megagross and nihilego could be swapped for something better
