- Changes CHARM to a fairy move (as intended) so that eevee can evolve into sylveon
- Patched PhloxLab so that it no longer crashes on save

Titleid is the same as the original CIA that used the new VCs (00F73400), so you can just install over it and it wont affect the activity log, but keep in mind the save WILL BE DELETED so be sure to backup it first with your favorite save backup program, and start it once after you install and then restore your save.

Because they get outdated quickly. All the patched .gbc files have a Sylveon exp bug. Sylveon is on fast group while the other evos are in medium fast. Boxing it will fuck up its level but it only happens once since its recalculating its total exp.

It's really good, only non-bug issue is encounter rate can get annoying when doing puzzles. Other than that, minor bugs here and there exist. Use savestates every now and then and you'll be fine.

Two completely new regions
Good variety of Pokemon
Game progression isn't hand-holdy and expects you to explore and pay attention to your surroundings
No annoying friend characters stopping you every five minutes
Great 8-bit mixes of Gen 4 songs

Can someone confirm to me that the Castro Valley gym only has 4 trainers inside, including the leader? I beat all of them, but I'm like 99% certain I didn't get a badge from here (I skip most of the text with fast forward, so I might've missed it, but still).

I'm missing the 9th badge on the list, first one from Rijon. I suspect something bugged out and I didn't get it from the gym leader for some reason, and I'm now stuck. None of the 4 will fight me anymore, and I can't really tell if I'm actually missing this badge, or if it's elsewhere.

Here's another thing that needs checked on: after Route 71, there's a guy who hands you five Pokeballs when you tell him you're working on filling out the Pokedex. After he hands them to you, he says you should be proud about completing the Naljo Pokedex. Seems odd of him to acknowledge that when he knows you're just starting out.

You fought the leader, the order doesn't really matter, the order they're in on the card is the same as in Brown, you can basically fight any of the 12 postgame leaders in any order you like. It's like Kanto where Brock is still considered the first gym leader but you'd normally fight Surge first in Crystal, and fight whoever you like in any order in Crystal's postgame.

If you donwloaded the zip that has the source files, there should be an IPS patch just called "debug" apply that patch to your gbc file and it becomes available in the in-game menu.
Not sure if it might cause some probllem with the devanon patch, but doesnt seem like it to me.
Still, you should always make backups when patching.

Check out the doc in the op, I just looked at Togekiss's moveset and it actually seems pretty sane, compared to the mainline games. Only baton pass and metronome are level -- moves, the rest come at reasonable levels so you could feasibly evolve pretty early

Think there's a bug with some areas in Rijon such as Merson cave and Route 51 having no encounters built into them, you can see it in the encounters doc and in the game. I don't know if they can fit in more encounters into crystal though, is there a limit to the number of encounter tables to fit in? Might not be worthwhile though, even if it was fixed most of the areas would just be filled with level 5 shitters.

He doesnt just need a fairy move. He also needs a certain number of EVs, as we discovered in the previous thread. So keep training it,but avoid too much happiness or it becomes Umbreon or Espeon. Also, there is curently a bug that makes it level down if you put it in a box, but if you make it battle without putting it in a box it goes haywire, levels up like five times, tries to lear like 6 moves one afte the other, and then ig toes down to level 36 or so.
It levels down no matter what you do, so keep that in mind.

Pretty much anywhere. There are some areas where certain stones are more common, but yeah, pretty much anywhere. Although, I reccomend savescumming. Mining is pretty much up to luck, so you might need to do it a bunch of times to get what you want.
And stone based evos get moves. My Ninetails just got flamethrower.

Just make sure the file names are the same as the save files. Always make back ups of the sav and rtc files.

You can even compress the gbc into a zip file to save a little room (specially when using something like 7zip that offers ultra compression). The file in the zip can be any name, just the zip file has to match the name.

I had it happen to me. When I got out of the forest, the one where you become a Pokemon, I used dig to get me out of the forest. On the route just outside of the forest, where the twins were, I used teleport and wound up going back into the Pokemon section of the forest by accident. I wandered around in there, but decided not to save. I caught the wartortle that you find on the beach. When I went back out normally, all my Pokemon besides the one in the first slot had gone, so I turned off my game to revert to a previous save. No issues after that.

Yeah low defense, Pikachu is about speed and special.

Raichu has shit defense (base 55) too. Its why some people give it a focus sash in competitive play.

Its special (defense and attack are the same at 90) should be fine though. Just avoid getting hit by psychical attackers.

You are good mate. Gardevoir has really great coverage and solid offensive stats. Learns Moonblast relatively early, Draining Kiss is awesome, and can learn Sound moves from TM's later.

Do you like Flareon? You can get an Eevee and a Fire Stone pretty easily (although slightly tediously).

The ability was on the drifloon you get by trading exeggcute. It shows the damage done on the pokemon affected, but after switching in a new pokemon it reverts itself. Unless the damaged pokemon faints from the aftermath damage.
