Great, late by 15 seconds. Guess this is not my Christmas after all. Oh well, back to work then, I got my hands full with this Christmasteela drawing + another Lana WIP that only needs shading and lighting. Happy holidays! I'll take this week off (unless Dhelmise), so see you on January!

It has obviously been stated, but the combination of the best time for holidays + a tough monster to draw was a put off for most (well, not that exactly, but still). I woke up by 12 and started to draw by 13:30 because I usually don't draw legendaries, but I said I was gonna make an exception on UBs (plus, Celesteela is a cute mothership).

Needless to say, Celesteela took a lot of time for me to finish its outline (the inking took almost an hour with how full my house was moments ago). It has more detail than it seems, and those colors, man... they are ridiculosly confusing. It has more green than any freaking US dollar. And despite being able to finish it with some quirks, I was late by 15 secs...

At least I can find solace in the fact that the background and shades won't be as hard due that my outside relatives are on their road back home.

This is Tijuanabro, by the way. I'll be posting that work on the official drawthread after I finish it. For now, I'll go eat ribs and potato stew with the family.

Oh yeah I remember that. It didn't just randomly land on his birthday, I think he did say that he just wanted his favorite Pokemon on his birthday so we got Shaymin. It was also a Legendary Sunday so thats why he chose his favorite legendary. The following year, we got Shinx on his birthday because that's his actual #1 favorite.
