You can change the 12 hour time difference after you beat the E4 in Moon to get the same as in Sun and every other game.

You can also get both Rockruff evolutions without trading in both games.

You get the box legendary and a Cosmog that cou can trade to someone who can evolve it into the other box legendary for you.

Version exclusives Ultra Beasts are obtainable multiple times in both versions, so you can easily trade them.

There you go, now choose. In the end it comes down to "which title screen do you prefer" because nothing else matters.

I have both. Got one for Xmas from a co worker. I play Moon as my main and normal play through and Sun for Nuzlockes.

i went with moon. not too hard to trade for good IV/nature'd regular pokes, but getting a good IV Ultra Beast is fucking stupid if youre doing trades

i got day wolf already, easy. and the day/night cycles really didnt end up bothering me as much as i really thought it would.

desu i got back into pokemon JUST to run celesteela, because i love bulky/lame pokemon that can jape about. it was definitely worth it

also, pretty sure pheromosa > buzzwole in terms of comp viability, but all the other exclusives are viable in both games. imo go for moon if you want good VGC or smogon teams, just cus you can hunt UB's and reset until you get what you deserve
