I'm starting to feel like the Smogon method of going 252/252/4 on EV's is actually really shitty. It turns everything into either a glass cannon or a padded wall. I really prefer it better when you have a good even distribution between everything, except choosing either Atk or Sp.Atk and leaving the other one out.

What's your technique?
Mine's possibly too risky, but I keep a Metapod with me and switch into it when Ditto is about to transform, forcing it to Harden for five turns before it struggles out. Hopefully in those five turns it summons another ditto and I rinse and repeat. I keep track with the number of Hold Backs I use on Snorlax.

No. It's the worst single player experience, besides Sun. The VGC meta was fun in 2014, but then it turned to cancer, and that point is way past moot since the multiplayer is probably dead in XY.
