I know what Metagross is. The thing is it's the only exception to what I stated in 7 generations. The only reason I would even ask for those things is because of Metagross. If pseudos as a tradition were dragon-like then I would be fine with it, but because Metagross exists I know they can break that mold and give us something different.

Don't have anything other than typing and basic concept, so I'd appreciate any help in fleshing out the design.

It's a Poison/Electric. The main concept is that its body produces magnetically charged poison, which it can then control using electrical currents. Ability would be Levitate, and its stat spread would be mostly specially oriented. It could also have a signature that's a scald clone, poison type with a chance of paralysis. I don't really have any idea for its appearance, name, or pre-evos though.

Because that unique typing comes with a X4 ground type weakness, smack down and thousand arrows exist to make it lose its immunity via levitate (which has been done before via Eelektross), and Poison is objectively awful as an offensive typing.

"Because it's cool" is not a good reason for a type combination. Kommo-o may look dumb, but at least it covers the traditional ice-type weakness and adds more coverage against normal, rock, and steel types. Poison and Electric do absolutely nothing to complement each other in any way whatsoever.

Personally I'd like to get something that isn't a dragon. Sure, we had Metagross, but we just need less dragon pseudos.

A pseudo should always be something powerful. Perhaps a bear, a crocodile? A honey badger? Not sure.

Always liked the idea of a manticora tiger beetle-based pseudo, they are pretty scary for bugs.. some types of tiger beetle larvae also specialise in killing their much larger frog predators, so that makes it easy to have a "badass" first evo stage

I kinda like the idea of a normal/ghost pseudo that starts out as just a box, and slowly becomes a giant box golem. They come from abandoned warehouses, and act as guardians of all the pokemon that live there. they have an ability called Hoarder, which allows them to carry 3 items instead of 1. for the purposes of fling or knock off etc, the item thrown/lost is random. I have no idea what the stat spread would be like.

Fighting/Ice style, highly aggressive.

Reminiscent of a viking warrior clad in furs that graduates to a symbol-inscribed berzerker and eventually a commanding Jarl-like figure through an ice-stone.

Local caretaker to mountain snow peaks and tundra Pokemon. Adept at construction and combat. Their armour is carved carefully from ice, carved into it patterns of wolves through trailing internal cracks and the final evolution a crown of broken crystals from its former shed armour that sustained enough combat to shatter.

Or alternatively, an Ice type troll that through its inhabitance of the region's bridge undersides spawns its roots in its senses to become a Ice/Ground type, thus eventually becoming a wise druid-reminiscent troll and trail tracker.
