Today was more frustrating than my usual Chansey-less days. I found a Primeape, an Arcanine, yet another Porygon, and TWO Hitmonchan. I am starting to hold more gyms for longer now, so that's good.

I still do not have a Chansey.

I hate Chansey. My regional Pokedex has been one entry away from completion (not counting Ditto, which i have) for at least two months because of Chansey. And every day I don't find Chansey is one day further away from getting Blissey when Gen 2 does come out. I'll have uncountable Espeon and Umbreon, 10 Kingdra, Bellossom, and Slowking, five Crobat, three Porygon 2, Politoed, and Scizor, two Steelix, and zero Blissey. I was wondering why the gym a block away was still being prestiged when it would only go down in an hour or two, and then I was wondering why it was up to 35K.

I used to get a steady 50-60 at the 21-hour mark, then get up and boost/prestige to get another 20-40 during the day so I'd be in good shape for the next 21-hour cycle. Since it went 4:1 I haven't been bothered to get more than 10-20 coins a day because it just hasn't been worth it.

Glad they did it during this sprint instead of waiting another two weeks.

Question. This gym near my house has been fucked for a while now. It's a rival group, so I'd like to clear it... but its broke.

I go to battle the first defender... then my game spergs out. It disconnects me from the network and then I can't log back into the servers for like half an hour. I let Niantic know... but no reponse.

Anyone else run into this? It's persisted this way for over a month. I try like 1-2 times a week to see if it's fixed but nothing yet.

You can find anything anywhere. If you don't live in America or in a very big city all spawns are totally random, depending only on the biome you're in.
The only thing that is indeed right everywhere is an increase of water mons near bodies of water. But it doesn't mean you're chance of finding them is really low, you'll just find a regular rate of water mons, once again, it's just depending on you're biome.

This morning i saw an instinct gym with 3 shitmons in it. Its near a supermarket, a lot of public transport, you can reach it by car, there are apartment blocks nearby etc

When i came back 10 hours later the gym was still there with the same 3 shitmons. Took it down and collected my coins.

I have 4 stable gyms, 3 local ones that I keep trained up (lvl 7, 7, 10 currently), and one along a main road that's been Instinct for at least 3 months, the reason nobody takes it is because it's along a long stretch of nothing, so no one bothers to go and actually take it down

My local village is a warzone between Mystic and Instinct, there's a notorious spoofer who takes all the gyms at like 1 in the morning for Mystic, but by lunchtime the next day it's all Instinct, so I can pop some Pokemon in for some temp coins before the night falls

It's basically to entice people to come and put their pokemon in because there is a free spot for them, they don't need to do any training, and it works I guess, there was a fair bit of fighting between Valor and Instinct in those 3 but it's 90% Instinct now
