The new tracker is literally worse than useless. It doesn't show Pokémon unless they're within a certain radius of a stop. That means that, if there's any reasonable distance between stops, Pokémon will spawn and never show up in your tracker, even if you are literally two feet away from their encounter radius.

Made it to level 30 a month ago, played pretty constantly.
But the new tracker is so terrible without the nearby. I've only collected my daily bonuses even with the 2x stardust event.
I bought a goplus but I hardly use it because it only connects half the time and even then it still might not properly catch pokemon or log distance. So I can't even use that.

Normally if I'm using Vaporeon, it's against an oppenent I just want to blast away, like Snorlax
Jolteon being a bit more fragile, and often against WP Vaporeons and Twister Gyrados', Thunderbolt is perfect for timing a dodge on a charged move then using your own charged
With my Thunder Jolteon, I've seen me not being able to dodge a second charge attack if the other Pokemon combos with 2 in a row

weedle's 35 ATK, 20 SP ATK converts to 63 GO attack, while Kakuna's 25ATK, 25 SP ATK converts to 46 GO attack

Weedle has 80stam,63atk,55def, (198 total) while kakuna has 90stam,46atk,86def (222 total)
since attack is weighted twice as much as the others (not sure why) weedles ends up with a higher CP
you should try not to pay attention to CP as much as possible

Hydro pump one might be slightly better at raw damage attacking but in defense Aqua Tail is the best to take advantage of that bug making it the best vaporeon defender. Perfect to fuck up with the attacker plans by killing two pokemons because the game keeps swapping them until they die.

Did they lower catch rates again? I just had a 400CP Abra escape a Berry + Great Throw + Curveball + Ultra Ball (I always combine everything because it has a 99% flee rate). Most of the Pidgeys I encountered today also fled, one 200CP Pidgey from an Excellent + Great Ball + Curveball. It's pretty frustrating.
