First of all it mostly fucks over most rural/sub-urban fags, since we don't live right next to 20 stops. Second you can't see the mons right next to your home.
In my case I got pretty good spawns down the street (one being a Dratini/Dragonair spawn point) but I'm no longer able to tell when they're around and don't feel like leaving my home every 10 minutes.

So the worst thing is basically you can't hunt anymore, which is basically one of, if not, the main goal of the game

have you fought a gym lately? the attacker benefit was already huge, and niantic quadrupled it compared to prestiging
every gym is easily beatable for anyone level 20 or higher, some just take more time
the order the pokemon are in is so insignificant
do you really not see the flaws in the CP order system?
CP is a TERRIBLE ballpark estimate of a pokemons strength
take for example: rhydon vs slowbro
level 30 rhydon: ~2800 CP (just an approximation)
level 30 slowbro: ~2100 CP (approximation)
say there are 5 pokemon in a friendly gym at 2500 CP
you can put the rhydon in, which sucks at defending the gym, but will last in the gym for longer
this is a DETRIMENT to your teammates and the gym, but it benefits you the most
you can put the slwobro in, which is good at defending the gym, but will be the first to be kicked out of the gym
this is BENEFICIAL to your teammates, but is of little benefit to you
hence most players will place the rhydon in the gym in this scenario. This follows for all gyms, which leads to the same 10 or so pokemon being seen in each gym just so they can backstab their teammates and last a little bit longer

is your train of thought 'gyms should suck so people can beat them easily'?
because that is a terrible way of thinking about this

That won't work if they all have different potentials
Taking it to an extreme state: imagine a gym with 9 dragonites at 3000CP
You have a poliwrath at 2000 CP
poliwrath is ALWAYS going at the bottom spot
even if they 'rebalance' it so poliwrath reaches 2800 CP, he will never be above the same level dragonites, and that IS a huge problem.
gym order should NOT be limited to the arbitrary formula that niantic created which is a horrible judge of pokemon strength
surely you can agree that pokemon LEVEL alone is a better way to order gyms?
how does it make sense that a level 20 rhydon gets above a level 16 poliwrath?
poliwrath is the better defender

Man, I live in a building with like 200 other people (25 floors) and we have a Pokestop right here and there is this unkown guy who lures this fucking Pokestop 1-2 times a day for 4 weeks straight now just to get all the shitmons and occasionally a watermon. He literally spends 1-2€ (yurofag) a day for shitmon collecting since I never saw him at any gym around here at all where he could get so many coins (except he spoofs whereever the fuck). But he just keeps luring and I'm grateful af since I'm craving dust all the time.

These options are far too limited though and actually ignore Pokémon closest to your current position, in favour to Pokémon closest to your nearest PokéStops, even if far away.

Even faraway gyms lvl 6+ do not last more than a day or two. And if someone would want to take it, it doesn't matter which mons are there.

Dnite is even further though. Forces me to do quite some gymnastics just to get a single ball to hit it. And even then, it fucking escapes.
