I finished it over the weekend. Wasn't too bad, having a stick of good trade mons like Relicanth really helps.

Shiny hunting now, have 5 or so. 4 from chains, and a minior from breeding.

It's easier to just have a compound eyes mon with thief out in front and snatch some kings rock from Poliwag and use that to get one. Poliwag only appearing in rain sos as well.
