I did a battle tree. The 20th floor give you 20BP. You will get exactly 48BP for a single run.

I got that rock from the Trainer School Principal who gives you one after you fight her but you can only do that in postgame. The earliest one available is nabbing one off of a wild Slowbro which can come from a Slowpoke's S.O.S call at Kala'e Bay and they have a 5% chance of holding one. There's also other mons that have it but they're later on and you can buy one at the Battle Tree but wasting precious BP on that is stupid. what about the other parent? Destiny knot makes it so 5 of the 12 parental IVs are inherited. If the other parent has shit IVs, then you could get those instead. Keep trying until RNG is good to you.

Just started the game, what Nature Rowlet should I reset for? What stats am I looking for? (Never done this before).

Yeah nevermind about the King's Rock from a Slowbro. I got one to spawn after half an hour of waiting and it wasn't even holding one. I have an alternate plan though, I could trade that Slowking for a Politoed on the GTS then we would trade back-and-forth to scan the Dex entries. Win-win situation plus you have a guaranteed King's Rock in your game so spare me the suffering. We could also do the Magmortar/Electivire/Rhyperior trade evolutions too. I got off for now but I'll be back on in about 3-4 hours.
