I can't believe I actually wish 4Kids kept the English dub rights to Pokemon at this point: the voice acting would still be tolerable, the script writing would still be decent and Team Rocket wouldn't be intolerable, there would still be some music replacement but more of the Japanese OST would be kept & all of it would be still kept in the Movies, and the reason I bring this up in relation to your comment, we'd be getting a Japanese with English subbed release of Pokemon if how they're handling Yu-Gi-Oh now and since 2010 is any indication of that.

Exactly, and that's the sad part here...if TPCi even gave a remote shit, no one would care, but the fact is that they treat the Anime & Movies based on it like total shit. Here's what i think of Pokemon XY/XY&Z.

I tuned in to YTV then i saw the FIRST Episode of Pokemon XY, I was shocked after i saw the first few episodes of it.

So. in the XY&Z arc. the plot changed.
Ash-Greninja, THE DRAMA, Serena shipping, Zygarde but even Ash losing the kalos league. I was mad. REALLY MAD when i saw Ash lost the kalos league.... #MixedFeelings.

I was really sad when Serena lost the contest too.

So... all good things has come to the end.
My rating for Pokemon XY/XY&Z is 10/10.

At the time Misty left she was the only older main character besides Tracey at the time.

AG was a different era, all the Kanto characters like Ash/Brock and TR continued except Misty. Misty was the only one axed, so the writers still gave her specials/cameos to make it look like she wasn't being completely forgotten.

Obviously as the anime progressed they realized they didn't have to do this anymore, which is why Misty's cameos stopped as early as 2005.
