For me it only runs ultra fast on the language select screen, but then runs on normal speed afterwards.
As for sound go to configure > sound > change from null to auto

If you go into emulation, then graphics, there will be a little checkbox called "Enable V-Sync"
You click that.

Now before you come back and complain about the sound stopping. Go to audio and play with those settings.
I have no idea why I'm bothering to help you when you could have literally just used your brain and read any of the other threads but here.
