Note that until I successfully beat Pokemon SM or someone else does, we don't know if the game can actually be completed on Citra. Looking like it works fine in the first part of the game DOES NOT guarantee that there won't be a crash which makes the game uncompletable.

So far the only game I've completed on Citra in ORAS three times. Pokemon XY doesn't work. Pokemon SMD I'm about 70% of the way through the main plot.

The game will run at less than 15 fps. The only places where it can run normally is at the menu screen and in small houses.

Big houses including your OWN HOUSE and anywhere outside will kill your framerate. It won't matter if you have a high end machine because it's all on the EMULATOR.

Citra is an incomplete emulator.. I hope they can optimize it for S&M at least lol

Can anyone explain why I only see a grey screen and hear (laggy) music? This is not in the middle of the game or anything, it behaves this way from the start. JIT is checked, tried with v-sync on, but nothing.

Refresh the 3DS To CIA Converter v4.1 folder a couple of times.
I literally terminated the script in task manager after finding that nothing happened, then attempted a CIA to .3ds conversion and a few minutes later the .cci file popped up. It's fairly temperamental little bugger.

That's fucking weird. I've successfully converted ORAS CIA to .3ds as well as SM after a few pokes last night. When I use the script to convert, my entire computer will hang for about a minute while it spits out the file.

Also when converting CIA → .3ds I get a command window output whereas CIA → CCI it just said 'done' basically even though it was working in the background.

What I did was I tried running a CIA → CCI converter four times. Then I closed the command window, tried running a CIA to .3DS conversion. At this stage the window will completely freeze up and a moon.cci 0kb should show up. Then terminate the window using task manager and the CCI will inflate to the glorious size it should be and be playable.

Now try to playing moon-alt.3ds in Citra. It should work. My working copy of Rutile Ruby is Pokemon_Rutile_Ruby_v2.1_679-alt.3ds and it plays fine even though the thing like froze during conversion.

I am not having slow down issues, only with cut-scenes. An issue I am having is animation bubbles show up... everywhere. Like an animation border almost. One specifically was surrounding Meowth while I rolled out of bed. It was huge and ugly.
