If SM is trying to be like YW then Satoshi will have to fall in love with one of his female classmates. Who will be?

It's kinda strange just how elaborate the XY&Z ending is compared to other series.

In each of the other series, things always seem to end rather abruptly, over the course of one or two episodes. BW ends with two, where Iris and Cilan decide to go to Johto within minutes after arriving in Kanto, and they promptly leave. The next episode is spent fully on establishing Kalos as Ash's next goal and where he will pursue his dream to his fullest potential.

XY&Z however, takes its time over 4 episodes to end each of the characters up. Tying up all loose threads and putting a nice finish to it all. It's not like in BW where both Iris and Cilan declare at the same time they want to go somewhere and within minutes are gone. Each of the XY gang's hopes and dreams for the future are elaborately explained and established, and they take their sweet time to say their goodbyes. It has a sense of finality that no other series has had before it, and I really like it. Just another thing that makes XY/XY&Z stand out among all other Pokémon anime.
