I genuinely never expected Satoshi to win. If Satoshi was ever winning a league, they would make a huge deal out of it and bring back old characters as spectators, make him use nostalgia favorites like Infernape or Sceptile along the way and actually advertise "THIS IS THE END OF SATOSHI'S JOURNEY" heavily for maximum audience. That said, I expected Ash Greninja to beat Alain's Charizard after the tournament in a friendly match after the Team Flare stuff and I'm really disappointed that didn't happen. It really makes the arc feel incomplete.

Veronica Taylor is Sailor Pluto in the Viz Media dub of Sailor Moon: that's a high quality dub, for one thing.

What does Sarah Natochenny have aside from her awful Ash & Delia voices for the last decade now? Some iOS gave with Sif that no one plays & I think Bullet Witch that no one cares about? If anything, Natochenny's the one who has never had a spark to begin with. Her Ash sounds like a chain smoking woman to this day, and her Delia sounds like a transvestite.

TPCi's dubbing is the absolute worst, honestly, even 4Kids' dubbing was more tolerable for Pokemon.

I'm praising Taylor for doing a great job as Ash and Delia relatively to the garbage Natochenny has done for the last decade now, and for the fact she is Sailor Pluto in a Viz Media dub (not to mention was handpicked by the Japanese creator to voice the role, too, fun fact). Even Matsumoto said Taylor's Ash sounded "cute" when she was at a con & back in 2006 right before TPCi got to fuck up the Pokemon dub permanently, Matsumoto said Ash in the dub sounded like her take on Satoshi.

I'm shitting not on Taylor, but the later NYC Anime dubs: TPCi's Pokemon dub has always been atrocious, but the recent 4KMedia/Konami Yu-Gi-Oh dubs are almost as bad lately.

4kids has One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh! on that list, cementing them as terrible dubbers. TPCi's Pokemon dub isn't even mentioned.

All the hate 4toddlers give TPCi for taking Pokemon away from 4kids is completely unwarranted.

They were a bad dubbing company, plain and simple.
