So can a Dewgong with icy wind be a good defender? I'm debating whether or not to power it up

went out and got on to a few gyms today, all were level 5-8.

Within an hour they were all taken down, had lots of good big dick defender pokemon. Guess I'll never hold gyms cause I'm instinct haha

why do I only see cheaters on mystic and valor? Mainly mystic but I know people IRL on valor who spoof. Never seen an instinct cheater, seems like that team is the only one with people who play fair

In other news, how many "safe" gyms do you guys have? I hold three:

I'm instinct and I spoof, but only for nests on dangerous places in the city and to power up ally gyms who are not under attack. I don't snipe as well, it bothers me too much to do it on other people.

im instinct as well.
I dont cheat. I dont attack gyms at all however. Not that I dont want to. My phone is simply not strong enough to hold up to a gym. Basically crashes 95% of the time I even click on a gym. My phone cant keep the game up for too long either. I basically feel like im stuck at home with my decent WiFi connection playing this game since the game crashes whenever Im anywhere else.

I want a Kangaskhan real bad, but I live in midwest US. If I don't log into my account for however long it takes to fly from O'Hare to Melbourne, catch a Kangaskhan and a few others around the Aus airport, then log off again and wait to log back in...how likely is it that I would get caught?

How likely is it that someone would report me because I couldn't help showing off in local gyms?

The only cheater I know IRL was Instinct. Valor is the team that suffered the most with Niantic killing bots and Mystic seems to be doing fine now that most cheaters are gone.

I use Number, Recent, and CP the most.

Recent helps me look at the day's catches (and if I missed something to prune) and Number when I just want to idly scroll through my storage.

I also use Name for Bubblestrats (Use + and ~ at the front) and evo sprees (Use ! to mark pokemon for evo) but I've stopped bothering with Bubblestrat now so I only use Name for evo sprees now. Usually I'd use Number because the bugs and Pidgeys are at the top but there are also dex entry evos and high IV evos I want to have clumped together so I don't have to waste precious Lucky Egg time looking for them all over and still miss a couple. So I just stay on CP when I'm gym battling now.

Favourites and HP are useless to me because I mark all the Pokemon I don't want to accidentally prune as a Favourite and I don't care about the HP stat when CP is heavily influenced by HP anyway.

I think someone could run a bot but will need to be there all the time in case of captcha. Scanners work by using bots and they are kill.

I haven't heard of Niantic banning anyone as a false positive so if you're actually legit, you're fine.

I'm a pure walker and sometimes I just fail to log in randomly some days and get locked out for an hour or so while everybody else has no problems.

Just build up lvl 10 gyms. I have seen Instinct do that do multiple gyms. The problem with people who whine about not holding gyms is that they take down an enemy gym, place one mon and move on expecting that nobody will retaliate or take the chance. Look for allied gyms and make them stronger and if they already are full try taking a nearby gym

I've actually got 25 gyms at the moment. My team is out raiding without me tonight while I work on a paper. All of us average around 30 gyms at any given time spread across 4 counties.

I first thought it was that rumor about pokemon go won't show pokemon on nearby / won't load if you're driving type thing. Since I was driving I figured that was it, but still received same message when I got home.

I finally evolved my Drowzee to Hypno and reached 133 Pokemon registered in my Pokedex. From here on out, it is all about grinding for the last few mons.

>Weezing - set my Koffing as buddy, currently at 33 candies
>Vileplume - Oddish are rare in LA, but by fortune I have hatched a few Oddish and so I have a total of 64 candies
>Venosaur - like Oddish, Bulbasaurs are rare in LA. I'm at 43 candies, and will have to hope I hatch some.
>Dewgong - Had found a nest of Seel in Beverly Hills before this last nest migration. I had caught 5 Seels the day before the migration and had plans to go the next day to catch more when it was changed to Pinsir. I'm currently at 19 candies.
>Gyarados - I've been hatching Magikarps and I'm at 198 candies. I'm debating on whether to walk it after Koffing.
>Porygon - out of my control, as without trackers, I dunno where to look for one
>Lickitung - same as Porygon
>Gengar - I'm at 46 Gastly candies, and like Oddish, I have fortunately have hatched a few.
>Dragonite - by the looks of it, this will probably be the last one I get since I only have 19 Dratini candies. I'll see how this one goes.

Other than that, unless I take trips to Asia, Japan, or Australia, I'll be done with this game and satisfy the completionist in me after Niantic's bullshit antics.

I get all those rares people struggle to get but none of the powerful rares everybody seems to have. Chansey? Got two! Lickitung? Not one, not two but THREE of them! Porygon? Got too. Gengar? Didn't have to evolve, found ghastly, haunter and gengar in the wild! Gyarados? The first I got spawned near home. Everything in your list except dewgong I already got them.

Now my dragonite is a joke, it get its ass kicked by a weedle, and I have never seen a lapras outside gym battles.

Chansey I've actually caught in the wild. Muk, Snorlax, and both Hitmons. Lapras I have only just hatched yesterday. I'm more about collecting than battling, though I do try to get high level CP Pokemons. Pic related are my Pokemon.

Nope, closest town is about 40 minutes away. it has a ton of stops but very few mons. Bike rides produce about 2 mons per kilometer. I usually drive up to DC to farm or to a local tight group of pokestops at a historical site.
