Spoonfeed me on the best way to build up friendly gyms now?

I used to just find a mon with lower/half cp of the lowest mon in the gym (their cp 2000 arcanine, my cp 1000 golduck, for instance) wreck it and bounce immediately after winning the first fight. That was the quick/easy way to boost friendly gym prestige/get 100 xp.

I tried leveling up a level 7 gym yesterday, tore through the roster a few times, and it seemed to do less than when I just won one fight previously.

Does each mon you bring to the table have to be a lower cp to get that prestige boost? Does that even matter anymore? What's the quickest method y'all have found?

Not in downtown Chicago. 42/38/20 mystic/valor/instinct.

Valor has a bunch of level weekly gyms. Instinct has tore open mystic fortresses

I'd go so far as to say active wise (before late night carfaggots) it's 60% valor and 70% valor training local gyms - when its not cold.

If i go out today, tear down sub level 10 mystic gyms and train two levels, I'll say 5/8 will last the night as valor. And the game is very active here

I don't like knocking down mystic level 10 hideouts because I dont want them touching mine.

2 weeks ago there was a mystic resurgence and they held and attacked gyms for a week they (led by 8 level 35+ players) tried to reign terror.

I havent seen yellow since last weekend. Idk where they are. The last level 10 instinct gym I saw was this

There's no point. I have asked around pokedev and the silphroad through PMs to the people who ran multiple bot accounts in order to gather sample data whether their botted accounts were retroactively banned and the reality is that Niantic didn't log activity until the unknown6 implementation and around the first banwave. That is to say the people who botted hundreds or thousands of accounts are now selling them for dirt cheap like 3-5 bucks on ebay, playerauctions and other sites with no way to ever get them banned. Banned for spoofing or botting? Fork over 3 bucks and get a lvl 30+ account with 100+ Snorlax/Dragonite/Lapras like it's nothing.

And there's absolutely nothing Niantic can do about it because they didn't flag them as botted accounts early on yet they're being played legit now from someone's phone and will never be labeled as such unless the owner spoofs/bots with it again.

They didn't log that data early on. It doesn't exist so they can't go back and ban anyone who got to lvl 30 in a day or whatever. They simply didn't do it despite having spoofing and botting issues in Ingress as well.

Holy shit is the game really dead? I've gotten 20 coins per day this week and I didn't even put any effort on putting my mons on those gyms. The bus just happened to get stuck in traffic.

The "too fast" pop up is for 35 km/h or higher.

The egg distance threshold is 10.5 km/h.

I meant that the game doesn't seem to track any distance when I'm rolling on my bike, not pedaling. I don't get the too fast indicator, but a straight stretch of road that gets me 0.5km would get me 0 on the bike even though I'm sure I'm basically at walking speed because I'm on the bike purely my legs are tired.

The egg hatching seems to check only the difference in position every 1 minute while the too fast message seems to be related to the instant speed so if for some reason you get a speed spike it will trigger the too fast message but if between two position checks you don't have a difference bigger than the limit them the distance is counted. I have hatched eggs in a car getting too fast messages all the time but since it was in urban area full of stops and curves it would still count the distance.

Different problems for me, seems my Home wifi got soft banned for some reason.

Connect with wifi nothing appears on map, connect through cell carrier everything loads fine.

I was beating some gyms and holy shit, Raticate is great. Glass cannon, sure but as long as you dodge every attack (yes, including fast attacks) it can beat much stronger enemies.

I still think confusion ice beam is excellent, especially if your slowbro is 6th from top in a level 10 gym and someone tries to purge their way through the first 5 mons with their dragonite, ice beam will easily knock 30% of a 3k dragonites health.

I've been trying to evolve a good ninetales to power up to max but both my high IV ones got ember/heat wave, and vulpix is kind of rare for me

So the formula is still the same for defending gyms, yet it is applied to all six moms now, correct? So only difference would be that I have to swap in 6 at under/half cp now? I picked Mystic because I liked ice types and felt like Articuno was always the underdog. Little did I know it would become the most abundant team around.

Part of me hates it because everyone and their mother (literally) is mystic, but it makes holding gyms so fucking easy.
