This. As a tip, get 6 lucky eggs, so you can have full level up teams. If you're in ORAS, you can do Blissey Teams + Exp O-Power and probably level everything up in one go

What ive been doing is breeding pokemon that people grabb imediately and trading the final evolutions
Then i breed them to get first stages and if they have 2nd stage i just lucky egg them evolve them usually its in the 20s or 30s so it isnt that much
I feel it goes quicker that way

Do you guys collect a shitload of eggs at once and then hatch consecutively, or do you hatch 5 eggs at a time and then store or release the leftovers? I personally do 5 eggs at a time to use o-powers.

I'm doing my first time Shiny Breeding right now. Or even searching for a shiny in general!

Friend of mine is planning to buy their first Pokemon game (Moon) after I got them interested. But they'd like to use a Ralts so I wanted to breed them a Shiny one as a nice treat.

When chaining on the dexnav, should I reset it after 100 or keep going? It seems you have increased odds at 50 and 100 encounters, but not a fucking living soul mentions what happens after that, like, if you also have a bonus chance at 150 and 200 and etcetera. Does anyone know?

The dexnav chain doesn't increase the shiny rate at all it's still 1/200, however the chain does give you better IV egg moves ha and stuff like that.

Well I'm not actively hunting right now since I'm focused on something else, but chain fishing netted me a shiny Karp in the first 20 minutes. The second one I found in the friend safari and took me a couple of hours to find.
I want to try Masuda method but I need the charm which is what I am working atm, only need the Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos Dex completed.
Also want to try dexnav but it seem a bit more complicated.

I caught my first shiny today! Well, I didn't catch it, I was hatching eggs trying to fill gaps in my pokedex.

I noticed pancham looked off, but didn't think too hard on it as it had been a while since I'd seen the sprite, turns out it was shiny! Lil bugger has near perfect IVs, and it's really got me excited to try for others.

Yes, he has 50% of getting 31iv in SpA, but that stops him from getting hp grass.

I made some rough calcs. He can get 30 SpA IV at most.

As it turns out, the hp calculation uses the last bit of every iv and in inverse order, creates a new calculation

So, in the middle column, every digit represents, spd, spa, spe, def, atk, hp in that order

So being that the second digit is always 0, hp grass can't have a 31 sp atk iv.

So his absolute best case scenario

1/2 to not have SpA set to 30
1/25 to have Modest
1/32 to have SpA randomly set to 30

That alone gives you worst odds than Shiny Charm Random Encounter, and that's not counting that the 31s have to hit the right stats.

tl;dr killing a gastrodon is not fucking worthy.

I've had shows and other games I needed to catch up on so I haven't had much motivation SRing unless I was bored or unable to do other things.

I run impish, leftovers, shadow ball, flash cannon, KShield, and substitute. Both shadow ball and flash cannon have a chance to lower the target's sp.def, so you can usually kill them through attrition if you don't have the type advantage.

So ever since I completed my living Pokedex I haven't felt much of an urge to actually play Pokemon. I think I want to get a Shiny Living Pokedex, barring of course the Tao Dragons and Victini which I think are the only ones locked?

Well, first you're gonna want to check out which pokemon are and aren't shiny locked, because your information is off. After that, friend safaris where possible, then dexnav, then chain fishing, then MM.

Fastest way for legends is SR, many mons can be gotten from the Friend Safari and Dexnav. Chain fish the fish
