Well my dex must be bugged then. It shows I've seen both Arcanine and Scyther during the last few days, when that isn't the case. I saw both in a nearby gym today, though, could be the source of the error.

People from the PokemonGo San Diego discord server are also quitting in waves every update.

You can, but it's a waste to use Vaporeon that way. I fight 2500~cp exeggcutors every other day and I can tell you it's not really worth it without a neutral or resisting type. You will not be taking down lvl 10 gyms with 2500-3000 CP without boring flee tactics unless you trade one of your HP bars for about 1.6 of theirs.

Can we mass complain to Niantic about letting scanners work and to worry about bots and spoofers? Seriously, I only need 3 more candies for my Poliwrath, and just hatch eggs, but other than that, I have no other reason to play anymore. I live in LA, and in a city this huge and spread out, it's pretty much impossible to know where some rare Pokemon spawn other than Santa Monica, Long Beach, and LACMA.

Then after this week's nest migration, the nests are composed of common Pokemon rather than those rare ones, which made people get out and try catching them. Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills was Seel nest and now a Cubone nest for example. The casuals dropped the game early on as expected, but for those grinding out trying to get them all or trying to get to high levels, it is a big fuck you.

I don't know too much about the other cities though, and it's probably pretty empty in the smaller towns

I will just be opening the app to hatch eggs and gym hunting from now on, I am level 28 with lots of good pokemons so there is no need to go hunting stuff anymore, I do regret not going for every dragonite I saw in the scanner but I already have three 2.6k dragonites and two 2.5k snorlax.

The amazing part about Pogo+ is they still haven't fixed connectivity issues, at least with my device.
The only time it will maintain a connection after I've locked my phone, is if I've just launched the app and done nothing else.
As soon as I've had at least one Pokémon encounter, locking the phone is guaranteed to close the app, then restart it on unlock, killing my Pogo+ connection.

It's annoying as fuck when I just wanna suspend active play for some passive play.
