I can't connect to PoGo with my mobile network anymore. Online answers to this problem suggested to check if PoGo, Google App store, and Google services have their background data restricted, but according to my phone, they're not. I can browse the internet just fine with my mobile data, but for PoGo, I need Wifi to both start the app and keep the connection, turning off the Wifi while playing only makes the game unable to update the environment. Another answer suggested to connection to someone's mobile hotspot, so I can try that later today, but for now, any anon that has encountered the same issue before? Using an Android phone, Samsung Galaxy S6.

Every site and guide specifically said that wild mons cp cap at 30, not sooner. So that's a lie unless they changed it.

Eggs do cap at 20 so any level after that is pointless, you'll just be hatching weaker than wild ones (but with better IVs, most likely)

The part about incubators is true because it produces both candies and dust but unless you're really lucky and also rich, the system will keep giving you stupid ass 5km eggs which are a pain to hatch compared with 2km ones, and they usually are crap that, again, you will find at a higher cp in the wild.

150 per incubator is way too much, but if you can hold many gyms per day, it's definitely an option.

This game has gone from crashing every 5 minutes to crashing literally every time I do ANYTHING. It just stops registering my movement then gives the GPS not found of doom.

Catch a mon? Crash. Spin a stop? crash. Check my walking mon? crash. Rate a mon? Crash about half the time. Look at a gym? crash. It never ends.

Is anyone else having this much trouble? I'm on android.

It's not that good. As a pokemon game is terribly designed and unbalanced, pokemon that should be common are not in most places outside of the US, gyms always cycle between the 3-4 same mons and it just feels like the most basic product that it could come out from the pokemon universe + the AR idea.

But it's a good excuse to go outside and after playing it for two months it's still thrilling to encounter something I don't have in my pokedex and it's still fun to explore parks and other corners of my city alone or in company.

As a lv24 max lvl of my Pokemon is 25.5.
So max level of wild Pokemon would be your own level or 30, depending on which is lower. You can power up to your level +1.5. No idea if Pokemon hard cap is 40 or 41.5. That could possibly mean you don't need lv40 to truly max out your Pokemon, not like anyone has reached that level legit way.

What are your tips on making use of every resource in order to stay good to take on gyms? Most of this is self explanatory, but I rarely see it covered, so here goes.

>Start dodging. You don't know how to dodge? Then learn (swipe after flashing light, you have 0,4 seconds which in my experience is surpisingly long). Charge moves are way less threatening when only dealing 25% of their actual damage, so if you suspect one is coming up, just do fast attacks and then use your own charge move after dodging, usually leaves you enough time to dodge again if they used two charge moves twice. If you can dodge their quick attacks too, then even better.

>Battle according to your inventory. If you have plenty of Hyper and Max potions, then switch out your mons when they have a sliver left and finish the job with the one next in line. If you're drowning in Revives, just let them faint, since a strong mon at 50% HP can still take down one opponent or two if you have good matchup and DODGE, only keep your defenders at full HP.

>Don't directly transfer mons of good CP value. Use them up in gyms until they faint, and transfer them afterwards, if played well they can at the very least remove quite a bit of the opponent before getting sacked. I'm beginning to think the game won't exist by then. Niantic is talking about trainer battles as if it was not even coming to the game in a year or more. Gen II is probably not coming until summer nexy year so we'd have to wait about 3 years and I'm not sure if people will still care about this by then.
