What's Role Play for on this set?
>>28763874
Probably for copying Intimidate and the like, it seems like it's a set for Doubles.
I'm gonna start taking on Battle Spot with full Karenfaggotry force, luckily my favorite Pokemon is Mawile so I'm not too worred about that, however I'm totally unfamilliar with the format. What do I need to be afraid of the most before I begin team building? Are Primals seriously allowed?
Mega Kangaskhan
Return
PuP
Earthquake
Sucker Punch
I only like the best, karenfags should kill themselves
>>28764012
Primals, box legendaries and mythicals are only allowed in Unrated/Free, so feel free to disregard anyone who complains about them because they're pussies who don't go on Rated because they're bad. Mawile does pretty well in both Singles and Doubles, but is better in Singles because Mawile doesn't have the double-target firepower to keep up with other superior mons.
>>28764076
If you like Mega Kangaskhan and you're using it then you're technically following Karen's ideology. Have fun killing yourself.
t. a master of logic
>>28764076
(Cont) here are the top BSS teams, but keep in mind low-mid ladder vary very different from this. What I suppose you can take away from this is the most common mons used between each of them. Good luck, but don't be surprised if you can't get farther than 1750 with your favourites.

>all these Mega Milfs and Genies
Whew, talk about an uphill climb. That being said, thank you very much for this info, anon. I'm probably gonna build a Maw for Singles and one for Doubles. I'm not gonna get too hung up on losses since with the new gen on the horizon, things won't be the same for long, I think I heard Madsuda was going to try to nerf Mega Milf in some kind of form anyways.
Thanks again!
I think I'm going to try BS singles myself now. Any tips for team building? That's always been my biggest problem when it comes to competitive.
On a side note, any idea how pic related is in BS? I've grown quite fond of him lately.

>>28764433
Always keep in mind the strategy of your team. Be it positional out-trading, endgame setups orrolling the dice, find a strategy that works best with both your skill level and the format. I know it sounds obvious, but many a good player has lost track of team synergy while pursuing perfect Team Type Charts, and while playing, the superficial goal of knocking out all of the opposing Pokemon on your opponents team.
Also, I'm sorry, but Hariyama really does not do even decently at all in both Singles and Doubles. Good luck, anon.
I love this one, cause it's trained in an unexpected way and it works very well.

I figured Hariyama would be a poor choice. A poor man's Conkeldurr and Machamp in 6v6 and 3v3 it seems, but I'll still use him regardless.
Thank you for the advice, anon. I'll try to keep it in mind.
>>28764600
Hariyama works good in doubles if you're running a TR team, but it gets competition with Conk and Scrafty. It's niche is that it gets both Wide Guard and Fake Out, and to a lesser extent Thick Fat for taking on Hail/Sun teams. I wouldn't disregard it entirely.

This is a bulky set I use in doubles, but I can't recall why I wanted it to be slightly bulky instance of full offense. It does its job well either way, sweeps teams after 1 or 2 Quiver Dances. Does need redirection to set up though, so it works well with Togekiss and Amoongus for example. Wide Guard helps too. But I think a full offensive set works better overall.

Sturdy @ Red Card
Calm (252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe)
>Wide Guard
>Taunt
>Rest
>Roar
This motherfucker is the literal Wall. Wide Guard protects teammates and shuts down opponents with good single-target hits, which is great since most people think they can spam Rock Slide and Earth Quake and get away with it. Red Card can force out anyone who tries to set up or screw over the foe's set-up (i.e., Levitator attacks Bastiodon then its replacement eats its ally's EQ)
+4 speed lets it Taunt Ferrothorn, Slowbro, Musharna, Amoongus, and other slow tricksters
Roar is for utility and Rest is for staying alive; those defenses are nothing to scoff at and I've won a good few battles just by outstalling the foe when it came down to 1v1.
