I would have loved to see how Dawn, May, and Serena cooperate with each other. Dawn almost stayed with Ash too. But the writers used the stupidest excuse for her to leave.

The sense of continuity is what kept the whole show in tact and makes OS, AG and DP feel like one long continuity. The semi-reboots of BW, XY and Sun/Moon feel so detached from what came before.

The fact they ditched Sinnoh's Battle Frontier was a mistake. Coincidentally, 22 weeks after BW was released, that 2011 tsunami/earthquake happened. That was a big blow on the series.
