I'm not a competitive trainer myself, but I run a vineyard. I have a bunch of Sudowoodo around the place to scare off birds, and a few shuckle to ferment berry juice. So I headed east of Rustboro to Verdanturf. On my way, I caught a Whismur which evolved into a Loudred, also a Marill which I haven't used yet. Decided to challenge Wattson since I was feeling confident after the Roxanne victory.

He had an Electrike and a Magneton. Since I had nothing super-effective against Electrike, he was kind of hard, but a combo of Loudred and Nuzleaf managed to take it out. Magneton was then destroyed by two Karate Chops from Machop, but not before taking a very strong Thunderbolt.

Still, I did it! Got my second badge! I think I'm going east again to Fortree.

Regardless of rumors or stories you may have heard, Ditto cannot be used for reproduction. It can copy any pokemon, down to their genitals, but it cannot copy their internal systems or even secretions. It's like fucking a living dildo or blowup doll. Ditto is unable to feel any sexual desire and cannot comprehend it from other pokemon. Ditto's mode of reproduction is asexual budding. It cannot even replicate gametes. Expecting Ditto to make eggs is silly and to fertilize a female equally silly. If the Ditto knows what the opposite gender of a pokemon looks like, it can replicate it, but it will still do nothing. If they don't, then they can't guess just from looking at one pokemon. Ditto's power is merely a simulation. It is not perfect.

I have my starter Feraligatr, Aggron, Garchomp, and Krookodile on my main team right now. I went out of my way to find females to maybe make her happy while in Sinnoh I gave up a shiny Gible because it was a boy but it's still the same with her. Mudkips are, like any starter, incredibly rare to find in the wild. Unless you're getting your first Pokemon in Hoenn or are best friends with a Professor your best bet is a breeder.

I personally don't know any Mudkip breeders but the circle of reputable starter breeders is nicely sized since labs have them in high demand. I recommend asking your local lab where they get their Mudkips from and then contact the breeder.

DO NOT SETTLE FOR COMMERCIAL STARTER BREEDERS. This is important. Those Pokemon end up being ill or have terrible IV scores, they're physically weaker compared to a well bred Pokemon and you might have some problems starting out.

Guys, I need advice. So, my parents run a logging operation in the backwoods, closest to Fortree City. Alternate colored, or Shiny Pokemon, actually do exist! My fourth clutch produced this little girl with bright yellow fur instead of blue. I actually freaked out, I thought she was sick. But she was happy and healthy, she even passed her IV test when I took the clutch in for their exams.

The owners of my breeding pair of Lucario got into a huge fight over who would have her. They ended up flipping a coin and she ended up going to Reggie's trainer from Sinnoh. Last I heard she's been training with him in that big mountain in the center of the region.

So that Donphan is shiny then? That's so strange, it just looks dirty to me.

An update on this. After training a bit, Elekid learned to use Low Kick, so I used that to make my way through the Gym Trainers. Challenged the Leader, and lost. Sturdy Geodudes are not good for my team.

One of the reasons I'm vacationing in Alola is to study the naturalistic practices of the natives. I wanted to see if there's anything more they can teach me. I believe in the bond I have with my pokemon. The old myths must have some truth to them. These stones, as much as I know minerals to possess elemental properties, I do not believe they are the only source of that power.
