I am surely doing something wrong. I am at level 11 and I can't make my pokémon stronger. And yet I fucking can't fight in a gym without losing embarassingly fast. All my team's gyms (at least the few ones I find) somewhat don't allow me to train my pokémon as well.
At this point I am pretty much stuck catching pokémon and finding pokéspots to grind Exp.

Has anybody got the Go Plus? If so, what's it like and is it worth it? Does it bug out as much as the app does while you're in a vehicle?

So I came up with a honeypot scheme geared to getting xp from gyms. Just find a gym in a busy area and clear it. Wait for someone to take the open gym and clear it again. Repeat as desired.

Thing is you only get 150xp, you can get 160 from catching shitmon with the curve + great bonus and they're not exactly scarce.
It only really works in a few situations, for instance a couple of times I've been lucky enough to be able to farm the shitmon of a bunch of giggling teens who thought they were being smart by constantly putting defenders in three at a time.

There is a certain infamous data package called Unknown6 that the game client generates and serves no gameplay purpose. It has been a part of the game since release, but largely ignored by the community.

However after a certain update the servers were set to start checking the package and it's validity. This in turn, forced bot developers to crack the way to properly replicate the method it's generated, which took around two days.

Alongside the last big update about a month ago, Niantic changed it again and so far there have been no public bots that have a workaround (haven't heard any of the private bots have a fix either for that matter).

So all the server has to do now is check if that package is valid to detect a bot. Mind you it won't ban you outright (the only things that can do that is sniping for some reason), but you'd get a permaban whenever they decide to pull the next banwave, most likely preceding an update.

Finally made my top vaporeon. Great moves, already had a reasonable high CP, I just leveled it up to the max of my level, IV 15/14/13. I'm pretty satisfied with the result. Also made some other vaporeons with other high CP eves for zerg rush.

The gym my dragonite is at hasn't been taken down for a while. I've leveled up pretty substantially since then so it kind of got left behind. It doesn't help that the gym is at my apartments either and everyone plays yellow so it stays level 10. If it gets hit even a little bit there's 3 guys there to buff it up immediately. Sadly my dragonite is at the top of the gym too. My gyarados is 100% IV however, so that my poliwrath and victreebell get rotated out plenty
