Thanks for the advice. Eevees are kinda common in this area. The 1301 Flareon came from a 538 CP Eevee, which was the highest CP for Eevee that I've caught. Had 22 candies for it so evolved straight away and hoped to upgrade my CP1081 Vaporeon.

And yeah, Eevee, being common as they are, are consistently appearing with higher CP as you level up. In my experience that's not the case with other stuff like Rhyhorn, I've seen the same 600+ ones ever since ten levels ago (I'm 30 now)

Is go plus supposed to work when the device is in sleep mode? I have the Go Plus but when I put the device in sleep mode. after about 20 seconds it flashes red and disconnects from the device. I am fairly sure this is a problem with my device, I play on a tablet because I have a windows phone, but I could be wrong and the Go Plus might just be an awful piece of shit.

Any time I try to toucy on a Pokémon to start an encounter my game crashes. This didn't happen before the update.

How do I fix it? This error basically makes the game unplayable

Read some feedback on previous thread about my site. Decided to change some things based on what people said.

Site should stop doing the shitty internal server error bs now. Gyms and pokestops were making the whole thing unstable.

I do listen to what people say, just hard to let people know I'm working on it. People saying fastpokemap etc are better, honestly don't mind, I don't have the money to put in to buy bigger nicer servers. Use whatever site works best for you.

by the way, there seems to be some bug when you scan again and there is some sort of drift the site shows the same spawn in slightly different positions doubling it. Not a big deal but if you are interested in working on it you could make it don't scan spawns again once they were determined in an area. That is, if it causes any problem with the extra load.

My local park has three gyms in it, I can regularly walk down there, take each of them and claim the reward.

There's literally no good fighting Pokemon besides Machamp to step up to Tyranitar so I'm gonna have to farm a 90%+ IV lvl 30 Machop and pray I roll karate/cross chop. This was days before the actual release in my country, so I had no idea the sort of popularity or personality the teams would develop over time. I'm not about to reset at level 24 over teams, but if they ever put in an option to change, I'm going to Instinct ASAP because muh underdog team.

That's because you didn't change the default settings for transferring, you could have either set it to prioritize CP over IVs or to keep all Pokemon above a set CP regardless of IVs.

(And for that, I find the display of spawn points invaluable - if 2 mons are present and I can see which one is at which spawnpoint, I know whether I have less than 15 or up to 30 minutes to get there.)

I would power that Lapras up. Moveset is perfectly adequate, and gym attackers don't know about its moveset.

If the goal is to defend a gym over a long period of time, every point of CP puts you that much higher in the stack of a level 10 gym, and makes you that much less likely to get kicked out.

And consider that if he lasts a week in a gym, that's 7 days x 500 stardust = 3500 dust. Enough to pay for his own powerups, although candy (or 5km walks with a buddy Lapras) will ultimately be your limiting factor.

How practical are each Pokemon considering the Cuck % on their movesets and the cost of evolving them? Yeah getting Twisterdos and Bitedozer Arcanine suck but compare that too 1/6 chance of getting a good Poliwrath moveset for 125 candy. How about Nidoqueen where the worst moveset you get involves moves that other Pokemon would kill to have and working no matter what gets rolled? How about how easy it is now to splurge out Raichu compared to Electabuzz or even Jolteon because you can just walk a few days? What are the most full proof investments of pokeballs?

All the Eevees are great for having only one quick move and being near top in their category.Hell even Jolteon is arguably the best Electric and has a niche use against things like Gyarados and Slowbro

Yeah, I just saw that, it seems a bit of a hassle, as far as I can see, it's about installing a diferent method of root access (the magiks) that basically allows you to temporarily run off root access to play pokemon.

IVs don't really matter for attackers. Movesets are way more important. As long as you have a good type matchup and can dodge, you can pretty much win any battle (provided your Pokemon don't have like less than 1500 CP less than the Pokemon you're battling).

On the other hand, IVs are extremely important for defenders, especially if you plan on setting up Level 10 gyms and getting those sweet passive daily coins. You generally want to put in a very high CP pokemon because as the gym gets attacked by other teams, the prestige gets lowered and the lowest CP pokemon will end up kicked out. The higher your CP, the higher you'll be in the gym and the longer it'll take to get kicked out. CP is partially determined by IVs, so the better the IVs, the better the CP will be.

Aqua Tail is better in the sense that you decide when to use it, you don't need to use it immediately after it charges up (because it starts charging up the second blast)

Actually this seems to be my lucky day. This is my first Aero and its moves could have been slightly better but definitely worse so I'm really happy with this one. However it didn't stop there. I also hatched my first Grimer and caught my first Onix and Pinsir too (although the latter 2 have shit IVs).

Only bummer is that you will most likely have to do a clean installation (wipe) your old rom. I use cyanogenmod 13 and it didn't work for me until i did a clean install and used supersu to remove all traces of root from it because it comes with root out of the box.

About three hours ago I bought some lures and decided that using them in the park over the road might be nice for a change of scenery, so I walked over there and sat down at a bench. At the next one over, there was a group of teenagers drinking and smoking and having a quiet chat.

About ten seconds later, one of the taller guys comes over and stands next to me. I thought he was about to make fun of me or something, but when I looked over at his friends they were all preoccupied with themselves, so I looked up at him.

This guy had no expression on his face at all. He looked like a fucking statue. I didn't want any trouble from him, and I didn't have any drugs, so I figured that if I just gave him my battery pack he'd leave me alone.

Anyway, as soon as I gave him the battery pack he started laughing. He turned back to his friends, laughing and shaking his head, and then turned back around and handed the battery pack to me. Then he said something incoherent again and punched me in the shoulder.

What the fuck was going on? I stood up and tossed the pack just behind him so he would have to turn around and then I just got the fuck out of there.
