I don't think she'll be used for two reasons:

1. Her design isn't distinct enough. Literally her hair doesn't look much different than Serena.

2. Game protagonists usually mean they have to do something important. Once again Sun/Moon seems to have no sidequests like contests or anything, so they would have to make up something like Serena's showcase goal.


Its really just easier to keep Serena around. Idols are still popular in Japan as well as waifu's.

As stated previous times before, the majority of us don't care that Ash lost the league. Deep down inside, we all knew that Ash would lose.

It's HOW he lost.

Surviving against two Leaf Storms from Mega Sceptile and barely breaking a sweat at the end? Holding his own against the CHAMPION? And then what, a Burasto burrrn and Memefrog gets taken out while Charizard doesn't care?

That implies that Alain is WAY stronger than even Diantha, perhaps even on a legendary level.

If Alain just said to hell with it all and brought out all six of his Pokemon and have everyone attack everything, they could take down Lysadre, evil Zygarde, and the Monolith no problem. It's this inconsistent writing that makes NO SENSE.

Fine, have Ash lose, but at least make it a close battle to show they are of equal strength. Why did Ash have to lose SO BADLY? What was the point? Ultimately, THAT is what makes it so infuriating.

You know, i actually jumped onto these threads when i heard the XY anime was pretty good, and i would say...XY is pretty good as a whole, the conclusion to the league was immensely unsatisfying especially since the fight itself was lame and the Flare arc while alright is nothing special but i won't allow that to detract from my appreciation of the quality of the rest of the anime, i can't really thing of any episodes that i have genuinely disliked in all of XY and because of that i am going to continue on to S/M and continue to lurk and even sometimes post on these threads simply because the quality of XY has managed to win me over.

Yea I know.
I guess I shouldn't have expected much but the ending really sucked. It's not that the Team Flare Arc isn't cool to look at but after the letdown that was the league and knowing the outcome of the Flare Arc it just feels so lackluster.

I enjoyed X and Y but if we're all to be honest XYZ really hasn't been good at all and it's time to just move on and start Sun and Moon. I think shipperfags are the only ones who disagree with this.

Which fucked-up version of the anime did you watch? In the last episode, Kyosuke and Miki embrace and he promises he'll come back to her soon, while his teammates beat him up because they DON'T want him to leave/accept his decision to leave, but then they come to terms with it and go see him off at the airport to wish him good luck on his new adventure.

Also, there's an extended ending in the manga set a few years later where the team gets back together to go watch a Japan national team match with both Kyosuke and Seisuke, and Kyosuke and Miki are engaged.
