My phone just barely meets the requirements to play and now the buddy system keeps crashing my phone. Basically stuck with the buddy I chose now.
That and the game barely reads the distance I walk. Probably walked about 15 miles before a 5k egg hatched. Getting candies for a buddy is going to be crap now.

Specially bad for people running on a circuit in a park, if the circuit is in the shape of a square and they complete it in 2 min the game will count only half the distance depending on the spot it takes the coordinates.

Sometimes you lose connection to the servers. When you do you get that calculating white ball that won't go away. The game won't track your progress while it's there. Opening the journal can make it refresh the connection with the server. It doesn't always work. Going into airplane mode on and off does the same thing. Beyond that, keep going straight. The distance updates every minute for eggs, and I assume the buddy.

I only play at night in beaches or parks with pokestops. There's no point in doing anything in gyms except every 3 days to dump excess healing items since nobody backs me up. 99% of all gyms are mystic and instincucks. I'm better off farming more; I still need 50 Horsea and 50 Porygon candy for Gen II to complete my 2x candy set. But yeah I will never reach 40, it's gonna take me at least 3 weeks to a month if I played every day spamming eggs and incense just to hit 36 and I decided to stop spending money.

The buddy pokemon's picture is bordered by a yellow circle that fills up slowly clockwise. I have caught everything in except region exclusives besides Tauros in the wild. Base forms, anyway. Never been lucky enough to get a Dragonite despite having two farmed by hand and working on my third one. Only caught 1 Snorlax in the wild too, rest are hatched.

My fucking normie fag friends bullied me into joining mystic even though I wanted instinct.

Of course it was the fucking wrong choice because Valor and Instinct run this fucking town, while Mystics can't be bothered to attack gyms, they'll just joing gyms without training them afterward, and they'll all put the same fucking pokemon in, as if they want to be solo'd by a single pokemon.

Most trackers need log-in info. That's why most people use a throw away account to cheat. Because they fear getting caught due to it being against the terms of service to use a scanner. It's the same thing as downloading a cheat program in any other game. The point of the game is to explore and find random encounters given a radius of the in-game tracker. Not to scan an entire map of a city and quickly drive to where the Dragonite and Snorlax is. Checking guides isn't cheating. You're just giving an example that is on the other end of the spectrum.

Thats fucking brutal. If youre making a trip here, the best spot for rare mons is Adler Park (by the planetarium) i havent actually been there but thats what ive read. Only made it as far south as buckingham fountain

If youre doing a day trip, this would be an ideal itenerary

12-4pm adler park
4-6pm walk from there up to navy pier going through the parks up through milenium (load the fuck up on balls which is sinfully easy in the loop, if youre driving 10 hours, max out your bag and maybe pokestorage so you have room for 300 mons)
6-10pm navy pier and go fishing until you you have so many staryu, goldeens, psyduck, magnets and voltorbs u want to puke.
10-1am Gold Coast by the water tower, theres a squirle nest at the end of chicago ave and a mini growthlie nest too

Check the scanner you should be able to grab 2-3 very rare mons

Just dont anticipate dragonites, theyre here but random. I just get them due to being able to reach just about any part of GS in 15 min and luck.
