So it appears that next episode Lysander gets completely defeated by Ash and Alan considering Puni-chan is safe the episode after and Ash and co believe the disaster is over at that point.

What I'm curious about is the Megalith. Ash and Alan go inside it and it seems that it looks like there is going to be a "heart" of sorts at the center of it.

I know it's been joked about, but this seems like a Tree of Beginning kind of deal. I doubt they'd do it, but could we get a situation similar to Aarons Lucario but with Greninja?

It's really doubtful, but if the only way to destroy it is by going 200% synchro without a means to escape I could see Ash being taken by Alan as Greninja finishes off the Megalith.

I find the summaries to be really meh. So every human member of Team Flare is stopped by the end of XY&Z41 (or partway through 42) and the final opponent is an inanimate object? Disappointing, especially if Lysandre does go down like a chump on the top of Prism Tower.

I have the feeling Alan will knock out Ash before he does something risky in ep. 43 and it will be him that does the reckless act to save the world. Alan needs to atone himself for being deluded by TF and Ash's contributions to Kalos salvation are almost over.

It will be like Sonic and Shadow vs. Space colony all the way. Ash has the Kizuna Genshou, which has more negative side effects than mega evolutions.
