I restored my earlier save and tried it all again, and this time it's all working smoothly. I think what happened was that I wasn't making a backup of my save each time I edited, I went in that pc and changed things about 3 times back and forth without backing up. Uninstalling system apps works a bit different now with FBI, but it leads you in the right direction. That being said, for qr injection to work I have to delete cookies and history every time I restart my 3ds
