Not exactly difficult if you're spoofing. All gyms within a 20km radius from either of my residences never last more than a few hours, even if they're in the middle of the fucking woods, so I usually have to collect my coins with only one or two gyms occupied. Best I had was 4 when the app wasn't officially released yet and people didn't understand gyms yet.

I've hatched two of them (Doduo and Voltorb) and I'm wondering whether or not I should invest in them (candy isn't the problem - stardust is).

Haven't seen an Eevee in a long time. Should I just give up on trying to evolve a new Vaporeon and just use the candy I have to level up my Flareon and water pulse Vaporeon? I hear water pulse is at least good for gym defending.

You got softbanned for the following reason: When you encounter a Pokemon and tap to enter capture mode, the game stops checking your position until the encounter ends.

Now since you were riding the subway, your position probably changed drastically during an encounter and when it ended, the game "teleported" your avatar to your new position, which resulted in a softban.

Exploiting this "feature" is the basis for sniping.

Have one account I tried almost everything on. Created it almost two months ago to run the python script scanner, then switched it to botting when scanning died. Used it for testing out what settings will get the best experience while not getting a softban, so my other bots would have more success.

This means it ran at speeds up to 300 km/h, sniped, pulled ridiculous XP/h and got itself softbanned quite a lot. I also use Nox to check log into it and check it's status. The only thing I didn't do is run it outside my local area.

It's lvl. 29 now just from testing settings and still not banned. Will be a bit sad once it does, kinda grown attached to it after all the shit it's been trough.

While you have a point, the bigger issue with the gen 1 electric types in Go is that they effectively lose access to their inherent speed advantage. These guys were meant to hit 1st with their big attacks and one-shot opponents because they can't take much damage. Glass cannons is the term I would use.
Well in Go they can't do that. Kinda seems like Niantic just hoped for the best with game balance.
But in Gen 2 we get the Mareep line and electrics will rise.

Hoard every Caterpie, Weedle, and Pidgey that you catch, and also save up all the candy you can for those three Pokemon. Mass evolve while you have a Lucky Egg activated, that will give you double the exp for every evolution (and for any other type of exp you get under that 30 mins). It's boring as fuck but it's how I did it, also going to areas with a lot of pokespots helps. That 50exp for every stop piles up quick.

Idk what the fuck just happened to me, but I'm sitting down by my cities pier which is a hotspot for water pokemon and lures. There are 4 pokestops you can get by sitting on these benches that are right in the middle, and if you want to walk for half a minute down, you can grab two more. These are lured 24/7, at night usually the 3-4 in the middle are lured, but during the daytime all 6 are.

I walk down to the other two and the pokestop is just white in the middle with no name loading. I reload my game, and they're gone. Both of them. And then one of the 4 by the super sweet bench area is gone now too, so there are only the three in the cluster left. It's been an hour, I've reloaded a few times, and they're still gone.

It doesn't make sense why fucking 3 of them would disappear. All 3 at the same time? I also feel bad for the people who used their lures there only to discover Niantic just said "Use your last lure? Nah, fuck you, also fuck you getting items from these pokestops lel".

By the time you get through L25-30 you will find enough Karp to evolve another - but this one can still be used to intimidate at gyms and/or as part of a gym wrecking crew.
