Eevee and its evolutions are absolute garbage and the fact that we aren't getting any new ones in Alola is the best part of what is already an outstanding generation.

I fucking loved this. I missed on a few models (Bohroks and Phantoka onwards) but I used to get every fucker that came out.

I didn't say it was bad, I think it was the least good. Compared to the story and sets of the following years, '05 leaves you wanting a little more.

The best damn thing about it though was the introduction of the Toa Hagah and the Brotherhood of Makuta. That pretty much singlehandedly laid the groundwork for the endgame of the series.

The Inika were excellent characters as Matoran. I think once they became Toa, they got a little too Mary Sue for me.

The only one who I thought may have been Mary Sue was Jaller Mahri, but that's because his arc was already complete by the time he got to Mahri Nui. All he needed to do was lead the team.

All the rest of them had pretty good flaws and weren't invariably unbeatable, especially Matoro. Dude was broken as fuck.

My favorite bionicles were the second group of toa, the ones that were the village chiefs of the previous ones. That lived in Metru Nui or something. The new ones were made of too many pre molded pieces. It's hard to explain what I mean. The best example are the hands. The neq onea I'd seen in stores had a tually molded plastic hands. The old ones had that joint piece for a hand. I like that better a) because it makes the designs FEEL more Lego-y since it isn't exactly what it is but a Lego piece used tgat way, and B) more pieces with less defined purpose meant more pieces to use for anything. You couldn't use the hand piece as anything but a hand, but that joint piece could be anything. As the bionicles went on they added more and more molded pieces and I think that made them lose some of their charm. I was huge into these when I was young.
