When the League arc came around I completely lost interrest in the XY series. The way they handled the League is just plain awful (despite looking amazing), even the Black and White series did it better (and that one got almost everything wrong). After just one episode he's in the top four (which by the way is the same finish as he got in the Diamond and Pearl series which was his best finish yet) and there's no rival worth a damn.

I was pretty hyped for the league arc, but it is a huge disappointment.
