I'm just thinking that Ash will cause the Kalos crisis. His victory in the league will luberate a lot of Mega evolution energy, and then, Lyssandre will execute his plan.

It's pretty neat and shonen-ish, if you put it into a wide perspective. Shonen protags are well known for being hellraisers and generators of every problem (Example: Goku was the one who caused Frieza's outrage because of his selfish obsession with fighting the strongest guys and the Androids' crisis).

Is Noivern literally the luckiest Pokemon to ever live?
