I think They're fine, maybe Sandslash is too samey but they should look like the same Pokemon with different typings, which they did perfectly with Ninetales. Make the tail a different color, green or brown or something kelp-like. Maybe split it off into more pieces to make it even more kelpy looking, could just make it look like a big rock too idc.

Tongue also designed to look like kelp, has suction cups though. Maybe split it into two.

Blends in with sea floor and kelp gardens by laying on it's stomach, waits for prey and snatches it with tongue(s).

Alolan Lickytung live on the various local beaches. Due to the hot weather they avoided keeping their tongues out so they wouldn't dry. Considering this they had to get food in other ways, so they developed a few extra claws to help them climb palm trees while their tongues shrank due to disuse.
The tail also grew in size to help them swim between islands and they are often seen using them to protect their eyes from the burning sun.
Their skin is also darker than their pale cousins due to sun burns.

I don't know, a lot of these seem like they're just pulled from a fusions or recolor thread. I know we've only got 3 evo lines so far, but it seems like gf is trying to take old pokemon and change them in a way thats drastic or a 180 from what they were. Like how the fire and ground types become ice, or the fat and mellow tree becomes super tall and skinny and ecstatic. I think if they're gonna add more it'll be something like a skinny or in shape snorlax or something that becomes fighting type.

Unable to compete with other land pokemon Bulbasaur slowly started to hunt for food in the oceans, it's bulb dying and being replaced with Coral. As this pokemon grows it must shed it's extra coral on the reef or grow to large to move.

victreebel initially ate all of its prey in alola. it had to adapt to survive so it evolved into a dormant plant that uses the sun to make food for itself. it's main leaf grew in size so that it could gather more sun to make food for itself efficiently. it's mouth shrunk immensely due to not needing to eat prey and it grew due to overfeeding on the ample sunlight on alola. it's ability to eject poison attacks and grass attacks lessened as well due to not needing them. victreebel's alola form doesn't fight much, but it does attack by slamming it's massive leaf on foes.

So there's this fungus on Hawaii that's super deadly to trees. I figure the local Paras/Parasects got infested with that instead of the regular mushrooms, and don't have a parasitic fungus growing out of 'em.

Which means Alolan Parasects grew to be much larger, as they were able to consume all the nutrients the fungus would normally take for itself.

The Alolan Lickitung grew to be aquatic after slowly being pushed to sea by native predators. too big and slow to compete with the other pokemon on the islands they used their great girth to float on the ocean and tongues to swab around for algea. Now fully adapted for aquatic life, they float along the sea floor lapping up algea and sea greenery with their tongues.

Primeapes are known well for being able to angrily oust enemies from their turf, however when they were first introduced to alola, many of the native pokemon angrily fought back with force most primeapes were unacustomed to. They adapted however, still angry as ever but had to bulk up a bit and learn to take a hit as well as throw them. Primeape's thick fur now serves as its own fluffy armor, charging up potent static from primeape's constant movement allows it to be weaponized as well.

Thanks, tried to give some sort of lore behind each one. They work in tandem with normal/fire snorlax which gives a big warm bear hug to freezing victims, like a big electric blanket. The concepts I had before alola forms so interested to see if any end up overlapping.

Why, oh why didn't they give it a hundred spikes and stripes all over the place?

I was thinking about Onix being a Rock/Water that migrated to the sea floor to collect minerals, but it makes more sense to be Rock/Fire living in a volcano. I think Rock/Fire is kind of boring, though, because it'll just be an Onix with lava cracks.

Maybe Onix migrated to the volcanos, but when it evolves it moves into the water to cool off and feed on the sea floor. So Steelix could be a less defensive, faster Rock/Water, since obsidian, or whatever other stuff lava hardens into, is fairly brittle.

I just really like the idea of an Onix or Steelix with seaweed and coral growing on it. Maybe it could even be a habitat for fish Pokemon.

Oh, sweet, this thread's still kickin'.

I tried my hand at an Alolan Lickitung. Basically they've got an insane craving for malasada, just like Hau. Depending on which island you encounter them, their lower half will be a different color (it's supposed to match the flavored filling of the malasada they're eating). It'd be pure Fairy type, à la Slurpuff.

I'm still putting the finishing touches on this, and I know a lot of you hate Lickilicky because it's too round and cartoony, but I hope you like the direction I took Lickitung in!
