Honestly, the entire fucking launch has been a complete clusterfuck. Between the server issues, glitches, lack of content, broken features, and no Go Plus, it's pretty hard to see how they could've bungled it worse.

Another theory is that when you catch whatever Pokemon and tap on it, it'll do Ditto's cry instead of whatever Pokemon it looks like.

However, I'm sure the real sign is when you catch a Pidgey and some shit and suddenly you get that "new Pokemon" screen and it turns out to be Ditto as it gets registered into your Pokedex.

Tbh I dont really see anyone in my neighborhood playing it anymore. I've actually slowed down myself after hitting 100 + in the Dex, getting my bro Charizard was one of my main goals as8de from rebuilding my Gen 1 Team but after the hassle it took just to get ONE of these fucks it just saddens me that after a week he and the rest of my mons will be outdated.

Add to the fact that going for Gym Leader isnt even worth it and its really no more point to me playing for now.

Its just a really shitty way to raise pokemon.

I think there's a Magmar spawn about a block from my house. There seems to be one there pretty constantly every day. Not sure they're considered rare or not.

Also, it isn't rare or anything, but for some reason every single night there's a single koffing that appears on my radar while i'm sitting at home. It's always the closest thing to me and i can't ever find it, but i know it's not like it's the same one or anything since they despawn after a while.

I caught a snorlax early in my Run with PERFECT MOVES but as it stands I have never seen another. Its sitting at fucking 350 CP and it will stay there because even if I do manage to find another it'll probably be stonger than my lax with shit moves.

Personally I find that scanners don't always pick up all the mons. I tried a grass patch I was standing next to and it didn't find most of th mons there. Usually it's just the low level stuff that will be picked up.

That seaking is 500 only because it's evolved....a lvl 20 would have seen a seaking between 850-1050

You'll see stronger stuff as you level, I'm lvl 22 and starting to see basics with 400-600 cp, some of the stuff that only evolves once with 700cp, and things that don't evolve/fully evolved mons with 1k-1300 cp on average (I saw a snorlax with almost 2k earlier)

Pidgeot did that to me in two recent encounters, but only backed up that far after it had broken out a few times. In the second encounter, I managed to reach it with a curveball and caught it. So that's worth a try.

This is just a heads up for people that run into the Grimer glitch.

I caught a Grimer that had about 10CP or so, and every time I went to its status page the game would freeze. I couldn't candy it, the model wouldn't show up and I had to reset my phone each time.

I logged in using Bluestacks and I was able to get rid of it from there. Be careful catching Grimer.

Has anyone in a rural area hit a sort of progress wall in the mid teen levels? Once you get to like lv 13, basic stuff like pidgeys, rattatas, weedles, caterpies, etc, can take up to 3 or 4 balls to catch. But the amount of Pokestops and balls I have access to is the same as when I started, but the game is forcing me to use more. When I got my first set of great balls, I thought "oh, these are for catching the stronger stuff that appears at higher levels" but instead it's "Oh, I now have to arbitrarily use more resources to get the same stuff I've been getting no problem up til now." I can only feel robbed when a pidgey I'm gonna transfer anyway takes like 3 balls when all i have is little more than 20.

It also seems like the higher levels literally require a lucky egg and a mass evolution of pidgeys and weedles to progress, and I have a feeling i'm not wrong.

tl;dr: this game is the literal textbook definition of artificial difficulty.
