Well worth it. It was fun revisiting Hoenn, and I love battling online and with friends. All the quality of life improvements make them my favorite games by far, tied only with FR/LG.

HGSS has actually appreciated in value quite nicely due to being a gen2 remake(extremely popular, nostalgia) and being a less produced game as noted above.
