I'm level 20 and my best is a Vaporeon at 1300 CP, everyone else is below 1000 CP. Is it simply up to luck? Just gotta find or hatch something good?

It should give you something with decent. But I've seen anons say it depends on what level you recieved it, not your current. So if you got it at a low level they won't have much CP.

There's a link to a page that has the spreadsheet that has average CP multiplier for each pokemon when you evolve them. If you want something over 1K. I think you should try for at least a 500+ CP mon(I can be wrong, depending on the mon). Though the page will give you better numbers.

I forgot to bookmark the page, but if another anon has it I'd appreciate the link so I can bookmark it.

Only lvl 16. About 2K Exp to 17. I have about 30 evolutions ready but I'm still saving up because I want to hit lvl 20 in one go. Still don't have a Pokemon with 1000+CP. Strongest Pokemon I have is an Aerodactyl I wasted Stardust on.

Can anyone run a quick test for me? I'm having trouble nicknaming my Eevee. I nickname it, click "Ok", and then it's nicknamed. It's nicknamed on the screen as well. But then when I exit out of the summary screen for that particular Eevee and come back to it, the nickname is gone and it's just "Eevee" again. Is anyone else having this problem? I'd really like to do a bunch of evolutions tonight so that I can level up.

i've done this before, don't remember how long the time is, but when i did it, i had loads of candies and i used up the full 30minutes just evolving.

to give you an idea, i gotten roughly 53k-55k experience total. about 3-5 new pokemon discovery experience when evolving certain ones.

count how many you can evolve which gives 1k each and if it comes close to 50k, you got enough.

How do you play this game? I'm Level 9, and all I do is catch stuff because the local Gyms are stacked with 1.5 - 2k guardians, while my highest guy is around 335.

I can't power up, because almost everyday I see stronger versions of the Pokemon I want to power up/evolve.

Do I just hatch eggs and walk around for mons until I get enough rank so that higher level CP mons appear to contest those Gyms? I'm seriously confused at what to do now.

Get to level 20 as fast as possible, that's where you start seeing 1000CP+ wild mons, have access to ultra balls and maxed out egg hatching CP, plus there's a huge increase in exp needed to level up after that.

Fastest way to level is save up a bunch of Pidgey, Weedle and Caterpie, as they all evolve with only 12 candies. Pop a lucky egg to double your exp, and the 500 exp you get from evolving becomes 1000 exp per pop.

Also, you can beat gyms with higher CP mons fairly easily because you get to take 6 pokemon in with you, you can use supereffective moves, you can learn to dodge and team up with your teammates to tag team the enemy mons.

So, I've been trying to get the game working on Nox, and so far it's working perfectly. The only issue is that it won't recognize my WASD keys. Every guide I look up says something about opacity, but I don't have any of those options when I muck around with the controls in Simulate Touch.

Before anyone crucifies me for playing on emulator, I have it on my phone and play it as intended. I just have a secondary Google account that I want to use with Go for shits and giggles, so I can explore shit around the world for the fun of it.

Anyway, I could always use the location spoofer with Nox, but that's a pain in the ass to use consistently and I'm sure it'll get me soft banned to use it too often. Does anyone have any fixes, or ran into the problem and figured out how to fix it?

Unless you get lucky and find some high CP pokemon, your first strong pokemon should be stuff like eevee evolutions, pidgeot, golbat, etc.

The common stuff that you can evolve to get high CPs should hold you over until you start evolving more 'interesting' stuff or start hatching/ catching substantial 10k eggmons like pinsirs etc. Everything else like strong evolved pokemon are all really lucky finds which you shouldn't be holding out for.

The thing is you don't always have to use them and just evolve shit for the full thirty minutes. You can set up a lure or something next to a spawn point and evolve shit in between getting the pokestop every 5 minutes, getting the lured spawned pokemon, and just anything wild in the area you might wanna catch. Then add hatching eggs into this equation. There's plenty of other shit you can do besides evolving.

How close are you to catching them all?

I've been playing since the UK release and I've yet to see anything worthwhile pop from incense or a lure. It's getting to the point where unless I see at least two or three overlapping I don't bother because I can catch twice as much trash in the same time if I just keep walking, plus collect more stops.
