Alright so I just put my suggestion on Google Maps for an alley that is behind my house.

When should I use my stardust to level my Pokemon? Sitting on 28k of it.

I'm level 16 right now and level fairly quick. It just feels more worth it to spend candies on evolution exp instead of leveling a Pokemon, unless it's super rare, because the next level or two will start giving you wilds with shittons of more CP.

I have more fully evolved pokemon that i can't even fit on the page but less rare, like Pinsir, Golbat, Golduck, Pidgeot. That Seaking is my best mon by far. 785 CP, base attack Poison Jab 15 BP, special attack Megahorn 55 BP. So do we know how CP works? Like, is it optimal to max a Pokemon's CP before evolving it or does it not matter? I just started and caught a Starmie, and I don't know if it'll forever be shit compared to a Staryu that was maxed then evolved.

I got a 10 km egg, whay sort of mons cpme out of 10km eggs?
2km was a Zubat, 5 km was a CP 200 Venonat.

So I wanted to confirm a few things. I used Bluestacks and a trainer account to look around the neighborhood, then followed with my phone and my real google account.

For both devices, the same Pokémon appeared in the same places (I was there within a few minutes so time may be a factor). This means you could conceivably call your friends to come catch that Dragonite hanging around your house.

Anything else you guys want me to try?

As a sidenote, just hatched a 600cp Magmar from a 10k egg - my second highest Pokémon at the moment.

Is the best strategy is to find a high level fist evo Pokemon, then immediately evolve? Or max first evo and then evolve?
I'm a two days player, level 7 scrub who has only garbage rats and birds right now, not even a beedrill. I have some mildly rarer mons but obviously can't level them. Will I find more of them when I'm higher level?

im in orange county

theres a park near my house that seems to be the hub for the area. theres 2 gyms and 4 pokestops, you can do a whole lap in the 5 minutes it takes the pokestops to refresh.

im not exaggerating, there are always at least 15-20 people there playing pokemon go until 10p-midnihgt when the cops kick everyone out. during prime time its more like 30-40

most of the time theres 1-2 lures going

im lucky thats its close enough that i can see it all from my apartment, so i can monitor the gyms. however, theres so much traffic that any gym taken is attacked immediately and relentlessly

we were able to hold one for a few hours by having 4 1000+CP pokemon but it got worn down
