Question: If I train my Gym and it gets another pokemon slot open, can I put another pokemon in there, or does it have to be someone else on my team? Then I would have two of my own pokemon there.

No you actually have to move, it doesn't count your steps, it tracks the distance your phone is travelling from point A to point B. It also tracks your speed and anything over around 20km/h won't count toward accumulating distance for your eggs.

It's an awesome incentive to go outside, I've been getting more exercise these last few days than I usually do in a month - but it's still dodgy as all hell and annoying to use.

Okay so are rare Pokemon basically useless? Because if you need to catch multiples of the same evolution line in order to power it up then good fucking luck.

How do you get battery saver to work? I got it to work once but since then enabling it doesn't turn the screen black.

Does battery saver keep the screen active, too? I have keep screen on if charging enabled in developer options but the game seems to shut the screen off itself.

The game goes completely mute when any system sound plays (email, text, plugged in). Does this happen to anyone else and is there a way to fix it?

I've found if the pokeball icon in the upper left corner of the screen is spinning for a long time that could mean the server is down.

I also noticed that when i went to a new area it took a couple minutes for all the local pokespots to load.
