I don't know about yourself, but all I can see when I look at that little green thing below it's face is a bowtie. While it is possible that it could just be their for the convenience of letting us know it's a grass type, they could have done other things to that end, like have the whole bird be green, or feature sticks for legs, something like that.

I do get a strong feeling that it will grow mock clothing with it's feathers, be it an assassin cloak or a more formal suit jacket. Personally, I'd prefer that it were a suit jacket, as an assassin pokemon seems just a bit to dark for a starter, pokemon being a childrens game at that.

One subtlety I like about Eziowl is that it keeps the distinctive mask like face, but in a different way. The way the shadow from the hood forms over its face still brings to mind a barn owl face along with the distinct beak shape, though a different interpretation of how Rowlet did it. I think people are just brushing it off as owl the edge like Litten but while Litten has an interesting design reason for appearing relatively uninteresting, Eziowl actually looks interesting as well as being a creative idea. I can understand that it might not be omeonea favorite but I can really appreciated ciate the creativity of whoever made the design. I wish they would let themselves be known.

The log hat design execution is just too bad, it's just an okay idea turned into a busy mess with no care for silhouette.

I'd take the ninja because it's the best executed design with a sick silhouette even though it looks a little too digimon for my taste. The third one is just literally a bird with tumor around his neck.
