You can't have a good thread anymore. Not just in /vp/, pretty much anywhere. Sooner or later an offhand remark, or careless joke, or even a valid point that happens to use a word will be happen, and then the thread is ruined.

For example, a thread for humorous comics. Not a great thread, nothing hilarious posts but a few that'll make you smile. Then there's a post that references the point in a game where you have to decide which of two characters you have to play, referencing how the game handles it a little awkwardly, since it's in the form of a conversation instead of just filling a form. The game and the comic don't mention one of the words on the secret list of words that ruins a thread, but it does infer one. The word it infers is "gender", which is on the list with the instructions "See "Gender Identity".

Still, it's only inferred the word, the thread could be fine if no one noti-. Oh, oh shit, someone noticed and pointed it out. They point it out and others have latched on. The thread is doomed to a Class 10 Clusterfucking, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Well, there actually are people with more than just xx or xy chromossomes, but they are a very rare ocurrence, and the biological complications on that person's health is usually their main problems, and not being able to pick a multigender mc in japanese game for children.

This made me think how retarded tumblerinas are for trying to change make "people feel included" in games, when the people that have that kind of problems usually make much bigger issues at hand, like expensive medications and lack of effective treatments, since they are usually only given hormones to try to balance it out.
