Transformersfag here. Loved the movies. Thought they did many of the characters justice, like how deadly they made Optimus. People bitch about the hard-to-understand plot, but I mean, fucking it's not any worse than the fucking show. Especially Dark of the Moon, which is literally a 3-part TF episode Megatron's Master Plan. Anon from that post here. I was kind of drunk earlier when I wrote that over the span of five minutes, but it seems to be pretty well received.

Kind of unrelated, but still. I've written a couple published YA novels (won't dox myself or my publisher; easy to find names of my agent, friends, family in the back of an ebook version). Would anyone be interested in my adapting the games into a realistic novelization? I'd obviously stay as true to source material as possible. And no, hyper realism is not an option. Just something that's easy to project yourself into.

Thoughts? I'm still somewhat drunk as I write this, so forgive me if this just sounds like bullshit.

Let's look at this from a realistic perspective.

They'll want to turn this into a massive outing with not just a single movie but multiple if the first is a success.

What they'd likely do is doing something like the special manga. Which allows them to replace the main cast each region after they suck 2-3 movies from one. It also allows them to bring back old characters as they age.
