If you want better prices, you either need to snipe on ebay since new listings go up daily, or go local. Most local card shops either charge as little as $0.10 each like every other common card, or sometimes they just give them away for free.
When I used to go to prereleases, I would go home with 50-100 code cards I got for free from other players.

No, XY Greninja is a scrub trap. States deck runs 1 and you honestly don't even need him, the 30 damage doesn't make the math better. Moonlight + Muscle + Giant = 180 already and Megaman's offmeta.

Alright, I think this is the best I'm going to get this deck to be.
It's worked well as a counter to Virgen and can hold it's own fairly well with a lot of other decks.
I'm considering adding Champions Festival to help prevent building up too much damage, but that would mean giving up Burnt Tower and weaken Outrage.

Magic costs way way more than that. Average standard magic deck (rotates every 6 months) is 600-1000. Modern is like 1-3k (and risks random bans of key cards) and legacy is well over 3 grand

Standard is intended to be the budget format for magic but Magic Origins screwed everything up by releasing the flip-walker Jace, an 80 dollar mythic that every deck runs four-of. Maybe SOI will change the meta. I haven't checked back into the standard scene for a while.

Nobody plays Vintage because it's prohibitively expensive. You can either get a vintage deck to pilot or you can install a new roof for your house. That's one of the reasons I'm excited for Eternal Masters. Not including the reserved list cards is going to make the format a lot more inviting.

Goyf and DB have prices on opposite ends of the spectrum, but they have the same CMC, meaning your opponent had to pay two to get rid of your creature that costs two. That's right, you can be the world champ at yugioh, but you will never win actual money from doing so. Where as in Magic you can have a $3000 dollar deck but if you win or even top at a grand prix or anything higher you can win a bunch of money. Even pokemon offer schollarships at high enough play that can be cashed out for real money.
So yes, magic is always going to outprice yugioh, but, yugioh should not ever come close in price to even some of the decks because there is literally no money for playing the game... unless you are a vendor.

Try this and tweak. Get a 3/1 split of Dragalge with the "poison can't retreat" as the 1. Repeat balls work with a split evo like this. Get some Team Aqua Muk which will both help stop the poisoned mon from retreating as well as use a psychic powered attack that hits hard if your opponent has a special condition. Add robo subs too. Lastly some switching things like float stone or Zoroark or just plain old switch & ropes.

You can look at Sold Listings and see general trend lines, but it's usually just random sellers trying to undercut each other to move product as quick as possible. Which makes eBay great for buying if you're lucky. For instance, TCGPlayer and Troll and Toad have Shaymin EX ROS 77 listed at $51, but there are some Sold Listings on eBay for as low as $25.

This literally isn't what's happening, though. Maybe against literal children on PTCGO, but at cities and states, Night March either wins, wins, or maybe there's an uphill battle before it wins. Even against supposed counters like Toad, Trev, Jolteon, or Vespiquen/Vileplume.

Additionally, you only need to set this up once as compared to Greninja/Garchomp/Yveltal, Entei etc..., which all need to set up a new sweeper through evolution/multiple energy investments.

None of the other decks you mentioned are as fast as NM. They have the advantage of being more resilient and less vulnerable to specific hate, butt that doesn't make NM less cancerous; a deck turning matches into a 50/50 coinflip isn't healthy for the game as a whole.
