Umbreon is a great wall, but you've already got Wobbuffet. Meanwhile, Espeon has great Sp. Atk and Speed, as well as some special bulk. It's a little frail on the physical side, though.

In Hoenn games, Eevee evolves into Espeon if it's PM and Umbreon if it's AM.

Just check if your RTC is working correctly.

At least it's not FRLG, where you can't get them at all..

How do you guys keep track of which routes you've already caught a pokemon on?
Preferably I'd also like to track what level I caught them at so I can remember them when they die. So far I'm thinking I'll just have to type up a text document and keep it handy when I play, but that's a little inconvenient.

Ok, I'm giving this a try on Fire Red after playing Ash Grey and being surprised how much I enjoyed making do with Ash's pokemon instead of building my own team. I chose Bulbasaur for a first run to hopefully make sure I at least get to Vermillion.

Omega FireRed is really fun, but do be aware that the jump in difficulty in some places is really surprising and bizarre. Eg gym trainers have 2 level 15ish mons, but the leader has 6 at 17-22 with really good movesets.

When I started I felt sad about losing pokemon, but every time one of my pokemon died it felt like the others were somehow stronger. I now feel like I understand Nuzlocke and why it is so popular.

My pokemon have been chosen by natural selection. I lay Pidgey, Rattata and Mankey before the mercy of the cosmic forces that govern this universe.
