No, because usually you need to tell the pokemon to use the move, then the one that reacts to the command first goes first. Since you don't need to command yourself to use an item, you just do it, you can skip that step.

Before we talked about Munna, now today it's all about Gen 5's regional birdmon Pidove and it's evos Tranquil and Unfezant.
My thoughts: Not a big fan of Pidove. It is arguably the most realistic looking Pokemon to date. It literally looks like a pidgeon (moreso than pidgey ironically). Tranquil is meh, but I do like the design of Unfezant, especially with its serial dimorphism.
Usable wise, I noticed two things wrong with Unfezant:
1. It came after Staraptor
2. Its stats make it a decent attacker, but it has mostly special moves.
Other than that, Unfezant is rather decent.

I remember being upset when Pidove was first revealed because its silhouette was so similar to Starly's, and things just kept going downhill from there.

Alright, can we cut the shit for a second and talk about X/Y? Now here me out. I've been replaying this game. I'm a little biased. I'm otherwised prepare to argue that this is one of the better games in the series. Up there with Emerald and HG/SS.

On the way to Cyllage city I caught a honedge, bagon, absol, an aerodactyl and a tyrunt. On occasion I don't catch that many Pokemon in a game.

Holllly shit. Holy shit. You can change your character's appearance. Do you not remember how awesome this was? Finally getting that bag, that hat, those shoes? Literally the flyest shit.
>Difficulty, sans EXP share.
Given the EXP share breaks the game, but turn it off annnnnd. Grind city. Between two routes the game steps up from level 28s to level 38s. That's not a fucking joke, Korrinna to Clemont is only two routes and a city. I had rando trainers using potions on me, and the crits are unbelievable.
tl:dr Play X/Y again, you'll fucking orgasm.

I agree for the most part. The brainless AI is a bother, but XY had so much going for it. It was fun and visually stunning and comfy. Laverre is one of the best cities ever done.

The only thing I think is truly bad about XY is that the pacing falls apart after getting the mega bracelet. Everything up to Korrina's third battle is good, but after that it's just a gym after gym marathon with little worldbuilding. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the point where they started rushing it.

X/Y were great games. The visuals and the music made it feel like an adventure. I also loved the pokemon distribution throughout the region. I spent a lot of time trying to catch them all in each route. Team building was easier which is nice. I think it's just the /vp/ meme to hate gen 6, but give it a few months after s&m and they'll probably want to go back again like gen 5.

Zygarde forms situation is similar to Lucario's situation.
-Lucario was revealed way long before DP release, its got its own movie and it appeared in TCG already in 2005
-Zygarde formes were revealed a year before Sun and Moon, Zygarde got its entire anime season (and will appear in movie - at least dog is confirmed) and just now they made it nto the TCG.
We all though Zygarde forms will be gen 6 but in fact they were the first gen 7 forms. We also had that in the past: Kanto was continued in gen 2, Regis got their master, Regigigas in gen 4, Mewtwo got forms in gen 6, same with Hoenn legends.
Zygarde reveal was just a way to finish gen 6 in the anime and create a buld up for gen 7 games. A bridge tying gen 6 and 7 together. What role will it play in Sun and Moon?

Isn't Zygarde supposed to be a protector of ecosystems or something? If so it'd actually make a lot of sense for it to be relevant in a Hawaii-based region, Hawaii is very big on conservation because they have a lot of problems with invasive species and other things.

Sun/Moon are going to take place forty years before Red/Blue.
Like B2W2 being Game Freak's first sequels, Sun/Moon will be the first official prequels. Notice the exact same Orange/Blue color scheme is the shared with B2W2.
Your rival is young Sam Oak, and the events of Sun/Moon lead into what will become GenWun. This also ties in with Magearna, whom is based off the antique PokeBall as seen in M04.
The meteorite from space in Gen V is a direct hint at the legendary Pokemon for Sun/Moon.
The mask of the ancient tribe looks like the unknown artifact from Gen VI and is from the same region.
It belongs to the indigenous ancient tribe of Gen VII's region, who are also the enemy team trying to harness/manipulate the powers of the sun/moon.
Pokemon GO is going to tie in with Sun/Moon in a big way. Pokemon GO stands for "G-O," as in Geo, the Earth. Sun/Moon/Earth.
The folklore and legendaries of Sun/Moon are going to be heavily influenced on the ancient island tribal religions of tradition.
Creatures based off the Menehune, an ancient tribe of small people-like beings whom lived in the island forests, will be the basis for the legendary trio, and will be Fairy type.
