Solgaleo and Lunala are actually assholes and Marshadow kept them in check. However, Sol and Lun used their combined powers to seal Marshadow away.

I can't help but see Alchemic symbols everywhere in these recent updates and it caused me to do some digging.
Project Azoth (Mentioned in ORAS) turns out to be an actual Alchemic and Astrological term. The latest movie takes place in the Azoth kingdom.
Litten's face, the stripes and his eyes make the Sulfur symbol in Alchemy.
Rowlet, being a sphere with a Green Bowtie Line through the center mimics the Alchemic symbol for Salt.
And though this is a stretch, Popplio slightly resembles the symbol for Mercury.
In addition to this, the Alchemic image for the purification of metal is a Lion eating the sun...Solgaleo is known as the beast that devours the sun and is Psychic/Steel.

I have noticed that two (potentially 3) of the main eight islands of Hawaii are missing in Alola
Of course this might not mean that they MUST be in the game, afterall gamefreak can have chosen to foucs on four of them rather then all of them
the next issue is that of in game map vs artwork, which both indicate diffrent things
while the artwork only forshadows one island (the one in upper corner in the cloudish area)
the in-game map shows potential for two areas hidden by clouds

and if you rotate it this way, you get the layout in the picture with the long missing island where the clouds are supposed to be.
the two smaler yellow islands are a bit off , so this does not prove anything, but still interesting
and as i said before, the artwork does not hint at this missing island, aside from the rotation of the yellow island

I lost to Cheren once, near victory road. I wasnt expecting him there and I freshly defeated Iris and most of my team were ded. I defeated all those fuckers in route 10 and I was curious to see the victory road. But no, this smartass blocks another route for me and dumb blond girl another time. I thought the thread said first loss at first, so I'll answer that. My first loss was when I was 5 playing Gold. Only Pokemon I used the whole game was Feraligatr and I lost to Karen's Vileplume and cried about it. That was also probably the worst loss since I cried.
