Good evening /vp/. I've had the privilege of working on Pokemon SuMo for some time now. I've been tempted to do one of these for a while now, but I wasn't sure how to go about it at first. Obviously I have no interest in risking my career to hand out some NDA covered information on the internet that will be made public in 5 months anyway. As such, I've picked my topic carefully. It's something I highly doubt will end up in the prerelease marketing stuff. What we will be discussing today is post game. Before we get into that, just as fair warning. I will not be answering any questions that could compromise my identity. As such, I will not be taking any extra steps to verify that I am in fact a legitimate insider with access to the game or any information about it. I do not care if you believe me in the slightest. I only want to offer a drink of hope in what has, so far, been a very dry hype season. Second, I will not be spoiling any new Pokemon, characters, or plot related information. This thread will be strictly about one post-game element. It's being hyped in house as the big fan-servicey secret after the elite 4. I personally think it's pretty rad and is a big step in the right direction for the series.
Now, the tasty leaks! After becoming the champion and unlocking the national dex, you will gain access to a new island not currently shown on the maps. It is the Alola Pokemon Preserve, and it's pretty huge. It is essentially Sun and Moon's safari zone. At it's core, it hardens back to hg/ss Safari zone, in that it is highly customizable.
