Personally they are my faourite sidegames. Try them out, if you are into dungeoncrawlers. They are on the easy side tho.
Best title is imo Explorers of Sky, it's basically the third version of Time/Darkness, slightly extending upon it.
Start with either Sky or Red or Blue Rescueteam if you are interested.

The games are pretty good and by far the hardest of the franchise. The game is balance is much different from the actual game, for example multi-hit moves are absurdly overpowered, confusion is much more effective ,and annoying, than in the main series games and protect is just stupid. Red and Blue can be frustrating at times, with fucking Articuno killing all of your team with one move and stuff like Fury Attack tending to one shot you. Also orbs are more useful than you might think.

Personally I'm picking moon as Lunala is still my favourite out of the two legendaries even though I like the sun doge a bit more. The ultra beasts don't affect me and the 12 hour difference is cool since I usually play in the morning and it will be noon then which is the comfiest time to play at.

Normally I wait until I know more of the version exclusives, but I'm leaning towards moon solely to avoid that revolting bara clusterfuck. I don't even like the beauty one, but at least it doesn't actually make me ill to look at.
As for the wolf and Lunala, I don't give a shit about either. I prefer the sun wolf but I don't really plan on using either, so I don't care, and I find both box art legendaries to be trash.

I think I'm starting to like Gen 6.
Now that there's sufficient distance between then and now and everyone's talking about SM, I look back on Gen 6 and think it really wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be, maybe even good.
Is this a trend? In 2 years time, when SM are firmly 'out' will we have as many threads arguing about Gen 6 being the 'worst' or 'best' as we do now about Gen 5?

Judging by last few campaigns the some of th biggest, most exciting and best reveals are usually one month before the release date
So BW2 was released June 2012
May reveals had Pokemon World Tournament, few characters and some other details
XY was released in October 2013
September reveals were starter evos (Quilladin, Braixen and Frogadier), Kanto starter megas, Poke-Bank, Mega Mewtwo X and few other minor things
ORAS was released in November 2014
October 2014 revealed Soaring, Mega Latis, Mirage Spots, All the legends to catch and few other things
I would assume that next month will have the best news yet. Starter evos are very likely.
They've been hiding megas so far but with Sina and Dexio in Alola having the mega ring id bet we can expect mega reveals aswell.
Overall it seems we know really a lot about the main game so any potential exciting post game things, new features id be expecting next month
CoroCoro promised news on Type Null but thats just the magazine, we still have the early month info.
Get hyped i guess?
