Why does every fucking Pokemon this gen have the "Heliolisk problem" where they look like awkward second stages that need to evolve just one more time except noooope that's the end of the evolutionary line kek :^)!
And then there are things like Wimpod where the evolution is too grand that it looks like it's MISSING a middle stage.

Gen 7 has just as much non-evolving Pokemon as Gen 5. Gen 5 had over twice as many in total, though.
You can choose two to evolve and you can give two pre evolutions in total (could be for more Pokemon).
